Hello, hello lovely people :)
we got an 18m² empty room available from June 1st.
The room is quiet, facing the backyard, with parquet floor and access to the balcony with sunshine in the morning.
We share this balcony, but since the access is through your room we only use it when you are gone or the door is open :)
The apartment has a small kitchen, but with a dishwasher and everything we need (a lot of tea and spices). It's still big enough for the three of us to sit at the small table next to our avocado plants for a shared meal and chat.
Both the kitchen and the bathroom have been freshly painted by us in the last few months. The hallway is still pending, but paint is bought already. Maybe we will paint it before you move in or maybe you can already help with that ;)
Since Taraneh is emigrating to the US, she won't take her furniture.
Therefore it would be preferably if you take over the furniture: bed, new mattress, shelves, etc.
The deduction would then be 300 € (for all furniture + washing machine, refrigerator, ...)
Deposit: 365€
Please keep in mind that the cost for gas will probably increase within the next few month. We don't know yet by how much. The (first) raise of the cost for power is already included.
Mariana will move to Taraneh's room. Regarding the pictures: You will get the one with the balcony, but the furniture from the other room.

Hallöchen ihr Lieben,
wir haben ein (potentiell) möbliertes Zimmer ab dem 01. Juni abzugeben.
Das Zimmer ist zum Hinterhof raus und daher schön leise, mit einem Parkettboden und Balkon.
Wir benutzen alle den Balkon, da der Zugang jedoch nur durch dein Zimmer möglich ist benutzen wir ihn nur, wenn du nicht da bist oder die Tür offen ist (Tür zu = Privatsphäre!).
Die Wohnung hat zwar nur eine kleine Küche, alllerdings mit Spühlmachine und allem was wir so brauchen (viel Tee und Gewürze). Sie ist trotzdem groß genug, damit wir zu dritt an den kleinen Tisch neben unseren Avocadopflanzen gemeinsam essen und quatschen können.
Sowohl Küche als auch Bad wurden in den letzten Monaten von uns frisch gestrichen. Der Flur steht noch aus, Farbe ist jedoch schon da. Vielleicht schaffen wir das noch vor deinem Einzug, vielleicht darfst du aber auch schon mithelfen ;)
Da Traraneh auswandert wird sie ihre Möbel nicht mehrnehmen. Es wäre bevorzugter Weise wenn du Möbel übernehmen möchtest: Bett, einjährige Matratze, Regale, etc.
Der Abschlag wäre dann insgesamt 300€ (für die kompletten Möbel, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Küschenschränke..)
Kaution: 365€
Bitte bedenke, dass die Kosten für Gas in den nächsten Monaten wahrscheinlich steigen werden. Wir wissen noch nicht, um wie viel. Die Erhöhung der Stromkosten für dieses Jahr ist bereits enthalten.

10 Minutes by foot to Venloerstr. Close to everything you need (Rewe, Aldi, Netto, Bauhaus, Alnatura, Dm). Close to the nice Stadtwald, pretty close to Aachener Weiher. Linie 13 right infront of the house, 10 minutes walking to the lines 3, 4 (Venloer Str.) or 7 and 1 (Aachener Str./Gürtel).

Neben dem Melatenfriedhof, gibt aber nur nette, sehr ruhige Geister :D ;)
Zur Venloer braucht ihr 10 Minten zu Fuß. Alles was ihr zum Leben brauch (Supermärkte, Apotheken, Post, Baumärkte findet ihr in 10 Minuten Gehradius.
Die Linie 13 ist direkt vor der Tür, zur Linie 3, 4 (Venloer Str.) oder 1 und 7 (Aachener Str. Gürtel) braucht ihr 10 Minuten zu Fuß (oder zwei mit der 13).

Currently three people live in the WG. Taraneh, Mariana and Johanna.
Taraneh is leaving for a warmer life in the US in June after her final exams :)
Mariana (she/her), 34, is a curious and energetic filmmaker from Porto. She has lived between Cologne and Portugal since her studies. She likes good conversation, listening to music, going out dancing and inviting friends to dinner, but she also needs some quiet time in the privacy of her room, especially in the mornings :) She understands German but finds it more comfortable to speak in English.
Johanna (she/her) has the room with most plants :)
She is about to start writing her master's thesis in Gender and Queer Studies about consent.
She owns two ukuleles (and a guitar, which she can't play). If you make any kind of music, she's really looking forward to jamming with you! :)))) Otherwise she likes to dance bachata and salsa, goes to demonstrations and likes to hang out with her favorite humans. She enjoys community, cooking or drinking tea together while chatting about intersectional feminism and destroying hirachal powersystems :)
Please note: FLINTA and BIPoC welcome! It's very important that you're familiar with feminism, anti-racism and queerness, so start your message with "anti-macho" so we can be sure you read this :)

In der WG wohnen derzeit drei Menschen. Taraneh, Marianna und Johanna.
Taraneh verlässt uns nach ihren Abschlussprüfungen zu Juni und sucht ihr Glück zukünftig im warmen Florida. :)
Mariana, 34, ist eine neugierige und lebhafte Filmemacherin aus Porto. Seit ihrem Studium lebt sie zwischen Köln und Portugal. Sie mag gute Gespräche, hört Musik, geht tanzen und lädt Freund*innen zum Abendessen ein, braucht aber auch etwas Ruhe in der Privatsphäre ihres Zimmers, besonders morgens :) Sie versteht Deutsch, findet es aber angenehmer, auf Englisch zu sprechen.
Johanna (sie/ihr) hat das Zimmer mit den meisten Pflanzen :) Sie schreibt gerade ihre Masterthesis in Gender und Queer Studies und besitzt zwei Ukulelen (und eine Gitarre, die sie nicht spielen kann) - Falls du auch irgendeine Art von Musik machst freut sie sich sehr aufs jammen! :)))) Ansonsten tanzt sie gerne Bachata und Salsa, geht zu Demos und trifft ihre Lieblingsmenschen. Sie genießt Gemeinschaft, zusammen kochen oder Tee trinken, während über intersektionalen Feminismus und die Zerstörung unterdrückender Machtsysteme diskutiert wird :)

There is a weekly cleaning schedule that you should be able to stick to ;)
Bicycles can be parked in the quiet backyard or bicycle cellar.
And we have a WG-Kasse into which each person pays €10/month for such things as the annual maintenance of the heater thingy (approx. €180), cleaning supplies, small purchases, etc.
We´ll invite people to come over from the 19th-24th of April.
Please let us know which days/times would fit you best from the following. When you can only after the 24th just let us know what day/time suits you best and we will let you know.

Es gibt einen wöchentlichen Putzplan and den du dich halten können solltest ;)
Fahrraäder können im ruhigen Hinterhof oder Fahrradlkeller abgestellt werden.
Und wir haben eine WG-Kasse in die jede Person 10€/Monat einzahlt für solche Sachen wie die jährliche Wartung des Boilers (ca. 180€), Putzmittel, kleinere Anschaffungen etc.
Die Besichtigungen werden vom 19.-24.04 stattfinden.
Bitte lasst uns wissen an welchen der folgenen Termine ihr könnt. Solltet ihr erst nach dem 24. können schlagt bitte einen Termin vor.
