Hello dear flat-sharing community seekers!
The other room in my shared flat for two is going to be free from November 1st week. The fully furnished room is quite huge(16msq) which includes a bed with mattress and bedding, a cupboard with cloth hangers, a study table with an office chair and a fan. You still have more space for yourself. In the apartment we share a bathroom (with bathtub), a toilet and the kitchen, dining / living room. There is also a basement and outside there is a lawn. We have a washing machine and dryer in the basement. The rent includes all the additional costs listed including electricity, heating, WiFi. Only the radio bill is paid separately. You can take up the room for short term/long term depending upon your comfort.
The flat is located in Höhenhaus, Im Weidenbruch. There are 3 bus stops within 5-6 minutes walking distance from the house. The Holweide S-bahn station is a 10 minute walk and the Im Weidenbruch tram Station is a 15 minute walk but can be reached via bus too. The 434 bus leaves from the front door.
Shops such as Penny, Rewe and three bakeries are 4-5 minutes away by walk. Sparkasse bank is a 6 minute walk away. And on the way to the bank you can also find two post offices.
It's nice and calm with very friendly landlords. You can always go on a long walk or jogging in the woods by the lake or in the gardens.
You will be sharing the apartment with me, so here is a brief description about me. I am Prashanthi, 23 years old. I am pursuing my Masters in TH Köln. I like to live in a shared apartment and I don't really want a purely purpose-built shared apartment, although I don't think much of compulsory events. I imagine a nice coexistence with nice conversations, but it is also possible to withdraw without any problems. I am open, humorous and enjoy being with people. I'm indian and like to meet different people.
In my free time I like to paint or watch movies and series or maybe read a book or two. I'm not much of a partying person but i do like to have people over for lunch/dinner and drinks sometimes.
