Hello!
I'm Idil, a 24-year-old Industrial Engineer and International Business Master student at TH Köln, originally from Istanbul. I'll be in Austria this semester between Sep 15th-Feb 1st for my Erasmus, therefore I'm looking for a flatmate (to replace me :(() for short-term.
The room currently costs 460€ warm, including 60€ for utilities.
The room is approx. 10 sqm, but has large windows with a nice view, even though it's not the Rhein river :) It will be furnished when you move in, I'll just leave my furniture here which includes a study desk, single bed, a wardrobe and a small (fabricated, don't worry) Turkish rug :) Although the room is small, it feels spacious, so you probably should have enough space to exercise etc. You'll also get my seal plushie as free mental support (especially if you need to deal with the Auslanderamt)
We're just one street away from Dürener Straße, 146 (the bus to Neumarkt - city center) is literally 1 minute away walking, another bus 136 (also to Neumarkt) is around 4 minutes away, you can also take one of 2 trains (1 or 7), they're both within around 10 minute walking distance. So it's pretty easy to commute from here. In short, our street (and the area) is very safe and well connected, so no worries :)
I live with 2 other flatmates, Nils and Jonas, who are very extremely sweet. Jonas just finished studying Law and Nils also just finished Economics. We're not a party flat, so we mostly chill at home. But you're of course welcome to bring friends :) They're vegan, however I'm not, while I mostly cook vegetarian, there is no pressure for your type of diet at all.
We sadly don't have a living room, however we have a nice kitchen which we mostly spend our together time. If you smoke we also have a balcony you can use to smoke :)
In terms of cleaning, we follow a cleaning plan, so one part of the apartment weekly. It's important to us that you follow this plan, although you don't need to be clean on the extreme of course.
