Hello,
My name is Camila, I'm a international student here in Cologne. I'm subletting my room while I do an exchange program of 5 weeks. I live in a shared student housing, so yuou will share the kitchen and toillets with 3 more people. They are very nice (more about them later).
This is a perfect place if you need a temporary room until you find your space in Cologne.
The room is big and spacious. The floor is made of carpet, it's fully furniture and I'll make sure there is space in the wardrobe for your stuff :) There is a desk/chair, a nicer chair for reading, a very comfortable bed (I just bought a new mattress from IKEA as a gift to myself).
The kitchen is fully equipped and very bright. There are two toilets in the house, and they work very well. There are common washing machines that you can rent on a app an use in the basement.
The apartment is very close to two bus stops (136/146 line) and one train station (line 13 and 7).
We are very close to an Edeka and two Rewe's and an ok distance of a Aldi and a Lidl.
Lindenthal is full of green with a lot of trees and you will be super close to the best park in Cologne, the Stadtwald Park.
You will share the apartment with two guys and a girl.
Nora (24, german), Jafet (24, german) and Cristian (26, spanish) are super cool and chill. We hardly have problems around the house. We are all living our lives, studying, learning german (me and Cristian) and sharing stories when we meet in the kitchen. Because of the good vibes, if you want to spend time in the house I'll ask for a zoom call so I make sure you are also nice to live with :)
If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I hope to find someone that is nice, chill, and that will be careful with my stuff while I'm away. If you are arriving in cologne, I can definitely share tips.
