Zimmer in 2er WG

Zündorf ist ruhig und entspannt. Die hier lebenden Menschen sind größtenteils Familien. Obwohl die Wohnung nicht im Stadtzentrum liegt, ist sie durch die Linie 7 sehr gut angebunden. Die Station ist 7 Minuten zu Fuß von unserer Wohnung entfernt. Wenn du einkaufen möchtest, kannst du entweder eine Station nach Zündorf oder Porz Markt fahren. Dort findest du Supermärkte wie Rewe, Edeka, Aldi oder Netto. Es gibt auch ein Dm, ein Rossmann und einige kleine Lokale. Jeden Dienstagvormittag findet ein Straßenmarkt statt.

Wenn du 10 Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt läufst, erreichst du den "Groove Beach". Es ist ein großer Park am Rheinufer. Dort gibt es niedliche kleine Restaurants und es ist perfekt für einen Spaziergang oder eine Fahrradtour.

Zündorf is quiet and chill. The people living here are mostly families. Even though the apartment is not in the city center, it is very well connected through line 7. The station is 7 minutes away by foot from our apartment. If you want to do groceries, you can ride one station either to Zündorf or Porz Markt. You'll find supermarkets like Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, or Netto there. There is also a dm and some little local stores. Every Tuesday morning, there is a street market.

If you walk 10 minutes away from the apartment, you'll find the "groove beach". It is a huge park by the Rhein river. There are little cute restaurants and it is perfect for taking a walk or riding your bike.

Es ist definitiv keine Zweck-WG, also nicht für Personen, die nur einen Ort zum Schlafen suchen.

Bisher hatte ich sehr gute Erfahrungen mit meinen Mitbewohnerinnen. Ich bin ziemlich eng mit allen, die hier gewohnt haben. Wir konnten immer über alles sprechen und uns einander vertrauen und unterstützen.

Wir haben immer gerne Sachen zusammen unternommen. In der Wohnung haben wir gemeinsam Serien oder Filme geschaut, uns lange mit einem Glas Wein unterhalten oder Brettspiele gespielt. Wir sind auch ab und zu abends rausgegangen, haben uns mit anderen Freunden getroffen oder im Sommer Picknicks gemacht.

Trotzdem ist es mir auch sehr wichtig, dass jeder sich Zeit für sich alleine nehmen kann. Ich zum Beispiel studiere und arbeite gleichzeitig. Daher komme ich manchmal richtig müde nach Hause und brauche Zeit, um mich auszuruhen und etwas alleine zu machen. Manche Tage benötige ich auch Zeit, um zu lernen oder Hausaufgaben zu machen, und bleibe einfach in meinem Zimmer.

Sauberkeit ist mir sehr wichtig, aber ich bin auch ziemlich entspannt. Mein Zimmer kann schnell unordentlich werden 😂, aber die Gemeinschaftsräume werden immer aufgeräumt und sauber gehalten. Wir hatten nie einen Putzplan. Wir haben einfach automatisch geputzt oder aufgeräumt, wenn wir gemerkt haben, dass etwas sauber gemacht werden musste. Wir haben uns auch gegenseitig geholfen – wenn einer von uns keine Zeit oder Energie hatte, hat die andere die Initiative ergriffen und die Wohnung sauber gemacht. Wichtig ist, dass es eine Balance gibt.

Manchmal gab es auch gemeinsame Kochabende. Wir haben alles gerne geteilt, vor allem, wenn einem von uns etwas ausgegangen ist, haben wir einfach die andere gefragt und das genommen, was wir brauchten. Es war uns nur immer wichtig, das zu kommunizieren und der anderen Bescheid zu geben, wenn wir etwas genommen haben, und wir haben das meistens später zurückgegeben. Obwohl wir getrennt Sachen eingekauft haben, haben wir trotzdem manche Dinge für die Wohnung besorgt und uns immer die Kosten geteilt.

Ansonsten suche ich vor allem jemanden, mit dem ich leicht kommunizieren kann, mich wohl und wie zuhause fühle. Jemanden, der empathisch ist und wenig Drama macht, haha 😅.

It is definitely not a Zweck-WG (a functional shared apartment with minimal interaction). So it is not for people who are only searching for a place to sleep.

So far, I've had very good experiences with my flatmates. I'm quite close with everyone who has lived here. We could always talk about anything and trust and support each other.

We always enjoyed doing things together. In the apartment, we watched series or movies together, had long conversations with a glass of wine, or played board games. We also went out in the evenings occasionally, met up with other friends, or had picnics in the summer.

Nevertheless, it's also very important to me that everyone can take time for themselves. For example, I study and work at the same time. So sometimes I come home really tired and need time to rest and do something alone. Some days I also need time to study or do homework, and I just stay in my room.

Cleanliness is very important to me, but I'm also pretty relaxed. My room can quickly get messy 😂, but the common areas are always tidy and clean. We never had a cleaning schedule. We just automatically cleaned up or tidied up when we noticed something needed to be done. We also helped each other – if one of us didn't have time or energy, the other took the initiative and cleaned the apartment. It's important to find a balance.

Sometimes we also had joint cooking evenings. We liked to share everything, especially if one of us ran out of something, we just asked the other and took what we needed. It was always important for us to communicate and let the other know if we took something, and we usually returned it later. Although we bought things separately, we still got some things for the apartment together and always split the costs.

Otherwise, I'm mainly looking for someone with whom I can communicate easily, feel comfortable, and at home. Someone who is empathetic and causes little drama, haha 😅.

Ich wollte noch kurz etwas über mich erzählen. Ich bin 23 Jahre alt und komme aus Mexiko. Meine Muttersprache ist Spanisch, aber ich kann auch fließend Deutsch und Englisch sprechen. Meine aktuelle Mitbewohnerin ist 21 Jahre alt und stammt aus Brasilien, ist jedoch in Italien aufgewachsen. Sie spricht Portugiesisch, Italienisch und Englisch. Also, es ist egal, woher du kommst, solange wir miteinander kommunizieren können und uns gut verstehen, ist alles cool.

Ich absolviere ein duales Studium als Mediendesignerin, das bedeutet, dass ich 2 Tage in der Woche Vorlesungen habe und an den anderen 3 Tagen arbeite. Normalerweise habe ich montags und dienstags Vorlesungen am Campus bis 17 Uhr. Mittwochs bis freitags bin ich um 7 Uhr weg und komme gegen 19 Uhr nach Hause. 🙃

Unter der Woche gehe ich 1-2 mal boxen 🥊. Am Wochenende verbringe ich die meiste Zeit zu Hause oder mit Freunden. Entweder gehen wir etwas trinken, ins Kino oder gemeinsam essen. Meistens sind es entspannte Pläne. Wenn ich zu Hause bin, schaue ich gerne Filme oder Serien, lese ein Buch oder telefoniere oft mit meiner Familie in Mexiko. Oft besuche ich auch die Gastfamilie, bei der ich früher als Au Pair gearbeitet habe.

Ich bin sicher, dass wir uns gut verstehen werden, solange es dich nicht stört, wenn ich laute Musik spiele oder wenn ich mit meiner Familie oder meinen Freunden per Videocall telefoniere und laut auf Spanisch rede. 😁

I also wanted to write something short about myself. I'm 23 years old and I'm from Mexico. My native language is Spanish, but I can also speak German and English fluently. My current roommate is 21 years old. She's from Brazil but grew up in Italy. She can speak Portuguese, Italian, and English. So, it doesn't matter where you're from, as long as we can communicate with each other and understand each other well, everything is cool.

I'm currently doing a dual study program in media design, which means I have classes at the university two days a week and work the other three days. Usually, I have lectures on campus until 5 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. From Wednesdays to Fridays, I leave at 7 am and come home around 7 pm. 🙃

During the week, I go boxing 1-2 times 🥊. On weekends, I spend most of my time at home or with friends. We either go out for drinks, to the movies, or have meals together. It's usually chill plans. When I'm at home, I enjoy watching movies or series, reading a book, or usually talking on the phone with my family in Mexico. I often visit the host family where I used to work as an Au Pair.

I'm confident that we'll get along well, as long as you don't mind if I play loud music or if I have video calls with my family or friends and speak loudly in Spanish. 😁
