We offer a 14m2 room on the groundfloor (Erdgeschoss).
There are furnitures you could take for free.
The house is on a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors (retirees along with young families). By bicycle, we are 23 minutes from the University of Cologne, 14 minutes from the center of Ehrenfeld, 7 minutes from Rewe, 3 minutes from Netto, 18 minutes from Bauhaus, and 24 minutes from the Dom. By foot, we are 7 minutes from bus routes 141 and 143 (Vogelsanger Markt), and 14 minutes from the Akazienweg (lines 3 and 4) U-Bahn stop. There is a large park nearby, perfect for running and sports, plus plentiful mixed-use trails through farmland and forest, the suburbs and Ehrenfeld.
We are an international mix of eight people and a doggo, between 23-31 years old and we mostly speak English at home.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t see this house only as a place to sleep, but who actually wants to live together and create a home that we all can look forward coming home to. Direct and open communication, friendly and empathetic nature, and a basic sense of cleanliness and environmental awareness are a must.
We expect people to stick to the cleaning plan and to do some other tasks in and around the house once a month. Therefore we expect you to join our WG Meetings once a month! There we dicuss how we are feeling and what is to do in the house.
We are also sharing food and dividing up the costs at the end, and when we’re cooking we try to cook for everyone. So maybe you’ll only need to cook once or twice a week (unless you enjoy cooking.. then we’ll be the lucky ones!). For the common food we only buy vegan, and although not all of us are vegan or vegetarian, some of us prefer that the new people joining us are.
Some of us like to go out together and others like to make music together. So you will find people for common activities. But of course you don’t always have to join if you don't feel like it.
Since we have a garden, it would be great if you'd like to help with it! You could grow veggies.

The house is two-storey with four bedrooms on the first floor, three on the ground floor, and one in the basement. There is a large garden with greenhouse, BBQ, and shed, a Wintergarten, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc.
