🌈 WG in Altlindenau (queer, feminist, antifascist) with Cats! 🐈

The flat is in the Erich-Köhn-Straße - about 650 meters away from Lindenauer Markt. There's a Tram stop (line 7) around the corner, shops like Kaufland and Lidl aren't far away and there are also cozy places in the neighborhood, where you can go for a beer or a coffee, eating pizza or going to a KüFA. And for everyone who likes the outdoors, the Palmengarten and other parks are nearby. Our neighbors in this house are relatively young people and we have a good relation to them. It's a really nice and supportive house community.

Die Wohnung ist in der Erich-Köhn-Straße - ca. 650m vom Lindenauer Markt entfernt. Die Tram 7 hält direkt um die Ecke, Kaufland und Lidl sind nicht weit weg und gemütliche Läden für Bier, Kaffee, Pizza, KüFA, usw. gibt's hier auch einige. Wenn man mal ins Grüne mag, ist der Palmengarten und andere Parks schnell erreicht. Im Haus wohnen vor allem jüngere Menschen, mit denen wir ein sehr entspanntes und zum Teil freundschaftliches Verhältnis haben. Wir sind eine tolle, sich gegenseitig unterstützende Hausgemeinschaft.

We are looking for a new flatmate to be living with us from the 1st of October. We are looking for a queer person and we try to create a safer space for people who are part of marginalized groups.

We would really enjoy living together instead of just besides one another, but of course we also value personal space a lot. We'd like to cook and eat together from time to time, or just to spend quality time together, watching movies, playing board games or having good conversations.

Our current constellation is all queer, some of us are neurodivergent and/or trans/non-binary.
We share antifascist, feminist, emancipatory and intersectional values - and wish for our flatmates to have the same. We want our flat sharing community to be a safer space for all people living here and our friends, especially for people who are part of marginalized groups. It may be important to know that most of us are white. As such, we realize that making a 100% safe space isn't possible, as we unknowingly reproduce discrimination. We want to hold ourselves accountable to self reflect and continuously educate ourselves to make the space as safe as possible.

We are a vegan flat sharing community. We really enjoy cooking and eating together. At the moment we share costs for food and daily supplies. So far, we are really happy with this concept, but we can also talk about others that may fit the new constellation of people living here better.

We have a simple cleaning plan, so that everyone does their fair share of work. This way no-one gets frustrated. :)

We value open communication and taking into account everybody's needs. Basically: We want to live in solidarity together. ❤️

By the way: A former flatmate lives close by, has a key to our apartment and spends a lot of time with us. We are kinda 5 and a half roommates plus 4 cats! :D

Wir suchen zum 1. Oktober 2022 ein*e neue Mitbewohner*in. Wir suchen nach einer queeren Person und versuchen einen Wohnraum zu schaffen, der vor allem für marginalisierte Gruppen ein safer space sein kann.

Grundsätzlich wünschen wir uns, dass wir wirklich zusammen und nicht nur nebeneinander her leben, wobei persönliche Rückzugsräume aber auch ein relevanter Teil davon sind. Wir fänden es schön, ab und an zusammen zu kochen und zu essen und auch sonst einfach mal in gemütlicher Runde bei Film, Gesellschaftsspiel oder guten Gesprächen beisammen zu sitzen.

In unserer aktuellen Konstellation sind wir alle queer, manche von uns neurodivers und manche trans/nicht-binär.
Wir teilen antifaschistische, feministische, emanzipatorische und intersektionale Werte - und wünschen uns das gleiche von zukünftigen Mitbewohnis. Wir wollen, dass unsere WG ein safer Space für alle hier lebenden Menschen und ihre Freund*innen ist, vor allem für Personen aus marginalisierten Gruppen. Es ist vielleicht wichtig zu wissen, dass die meisten von uns weiß sind. Dementsprechend ist uns bewusst, dass ein 100% safer Space nicht möglich ist, da wir unwissentlich Diskriminierung reproduzieren. Wir wollen uns zur Verantwortung ziehen uns selbst zu reflektieren und uns immer weiter bilden, um den Space so safe zu machen, wie möglich.

Wir sind eine vegane WG. Wir kochen und essen super gerne gemeinsam. Aktuell teilen wir alle Kosten für Essen und Dinge im Haushalt. Bisher sind wir sehr zufrieden damit, aber wir können auch gerne über neue Konzepte nachdenken, die für uns in der neuen Konstellation gut passen.

Wir haben einen simplen Putzplan, damit alle regelmäßig im Haushalt mit anpacken und niemand frustriert sein muss. :)

Wir wollen auf die Bedürfnisse anderer achten und schätzen offene Kommunikation. Kurzgesagt: Wir wünschen uns ein solidarisches Miteinander. ❤️

Übrigens wohnt eine ehemalige Mitbewohnerin noch ganz in der Nähe, hat einen Schlüssel und verbringt oft Zeit mit uns. Wir sind also quasi fünfeinhalb Mitbewohnis und 4 Katzen! :D

Besides us humans there are also 4 cats living with us in the flat. It's important to us that you really enjoy living with our furry friends and that you are considerate when it comes to their needs as well. If you are motivated to feed the cats from time to time or take care of the litter boxes, that would be ideal.

Außer uns Menschen leben noch 4 Katzen in der WG. Es ist wichtig, dass Du auch wirklich Bock auf das Zusammenleben mit den Vierbeinern hast und auch auf jeden Fall Rücksicht auf sie nimmst. Wenn Du motiviert bist, Dich auch ab und an um das Katzen-Füttern oder das Katzenklo zu kümmern, wäre das ideal.
