Das Zimmer hat ca. 14 qm, zwei Fenster mit Morgensonne, Schräge und Balken. Die Wohnung wurde 2015 neu gebaut (ausgebautes Dachgeschoss), hat eine große Dachterrasse, einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum mit offener Küche, zwei Bäder (eine Wanne, zwei Duschen, zwei WCs, Waschmaschine, Trockner) und Fußbodenheizung. Der Fußbodenbelag ist Vinyl in Steinoptik. Der Hof kann mit genutzt werden.
Das Zimmer wird teilmöbliert vermietet (Tisch, Stuhl, kleine Schränke). Der Rest der Wohnung ist dafür komplett ausgestattet.
The room has 14 square meters, two windows that let in the morning sun, slanted ceilings and exposed beams. The flat was newly built in 2015 (converted attic), has a big roof terrace/balcony, a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, two bathrooms (one bathtub, two shoerws, two WCs, washing machine and tumble dryer) and underfloor heating. The floors are vinyl. The yard/garden can be used too.
The room is unfurnished, some furniture can be arranged if necessary. The rest of the flat is completely furnished though.
Die Wohnung liegt in Connewitz, nah an Straßenbahnlinie 11 und 9, eine Haltestelle von der S-Bahn. Den Hbf erreicht ihr in 19 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn. Wald, Wildpark und Seen sind gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Kneipen, Supermärkte etc. sind in Connewitz reich vorhanden.
The flat is situated in Connewitz, close to tram lines 11 and 9, one stop from the S-Bahn. You can easily each the main station in 19 minutes by tram. Woods, Wildpark and lakes by bike. Connewitz has many pubs, cafés, supermarkets, playgrounds etc.
In der WG leben Mutter (39) und Kind (7). Wir sind an zwei Tagen die Woche nicht da. Wir sprechen englisch miteinander, sprechen aber auch beide deutsch.
Dann lebt aktuell auch noch ein Pärchen hier (beide 30), die aber auf der Suche nach einer eigenen Wohnung sind. Wir treffen uns in den Gemeinschaftsräumen, machen aber auch unser eigenes Ding und aufgrund unterschiedlicher Rhythmen essen wir nur sehr selten zusammen.
Wir sind Teil einer größeren Hausgemeinschaft. Da die Zimmer direkt in den Gemeinschaftsraum gehen, ist ein rücksichtsvolles Miteinander wichtig. Wie wir das genau gestalten, vereinbaren wir gemeinsam: Küchenkommunismus oder getrennte Kühlschrankfächer, mit oder ohne Putzplan, gemeinsam essen oder einzeln - je nach den Bedürfnissen aller.
Wichtig ist mir, dass man sich guten Morgen, Hallo und Tschüss sagt - auch wenn es nur vorübergehend ist: das ist unser zu Hause, kein Hotel und ich möchte das nicht nur für mich, sondern auch für meine Tochter.
We are mother (39) and child (7). We speak English with each other but both speak German too. We are away for two days every week due to my work. Currently a young couple (both 30) live here, they are also English speakers and are looking for a flat together. We meet in the common rooms and chat, but because our rhythms are very different, we rarely eat together.
We are part of a larger community in the house.
The big kitchen/living/dining space is directly adjacent to the rooms so it's important to be considerate.
We can discuss how we want to live together: Sharing food and cupboard space or having everything separate, cleaning on a rota or not - and so on.
It's important to me that we say good morning, hello, bye... when we meet. This is our home, not a hotel and it's important not only for the way I feel, but also for how my daughter learns about social interactions.
