Gönn dir Gohlis: WG-Zimmer in Altbau-Palast mit viel Gemeinschaftsfläche

Die Wohnung liegt in Gohlis-Süd an der Haltestelle Springerstr. Der Hauptbahnhof ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in 8 Minuten zu erreichen. Konsum und Bioladen sind fußläufig erreichbar, zum großen Kaufland braucht man mit dem Rad 5 Minuten. Es gibt einen Hinterhof, der leider als Parkfläche genutzt wird, durch große Bäume trotzdem aber sehr grün ist. Als Garten kann aber der Auwald bzw. das Rosental dienen, das nur 5 Minuten entfernt ist. Vor dort aus kann man, was Philipp ganz besonders freut, die Giraffen im Zoo sehen.


The flat is located in Gohlis.Süd at the tram stop Springerstr. The train station can be reached within 8 minutes with public transport. Supermarkets and organic food store are reachable by feet. The house has a backyard, which is sadly used as a parking lot. But the big Auwald can be used as our private garden, because it is only 5 minutes away. From there you can see the giraffes from the zoo which makes Philipp particularly happy.

Wir, Christoph (31), Johanna (29), Philipp (29) und Sophie (28) sind gerade erst in diesen Palast gezogen (deshalb zeigen die Fotos auch noch das Chaos nach dem Einzug). Wir kennen uns alle aus dem Studium in Hildesheim, haben danach unterschiedliche Wege eingeschlagen und uns jetzt wieder zusammen gefunden. Christoph arbeitet als Radiojournalist, hauptsächlich für Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Johanna ist freie Fotografin und in den Endzügen ihres Fotografie Masters in Bielefeld, Philipp arbeitet momentan noch für den Norddeutschen Rundfunk in Hannover und Sophie arbeitet in Naumburg als Theaterpädagogin. Christoph liebt seinen Mokkamaster, Johanna Frenchpress, Philipp dünnen Filterkaffee, Sophie Espresso – wir ergänzen uns also sehr gut. Ein Schrank in der Wohnung ist gut gefüllt mit Gesellschaftsspielen. Aus Sophies Zimmer hört man manchmal eine Oboe, aus Christophs Zimmer die ruhige Stimme einer Radiomoderation, aus Philipps Zimmer das Röhren eines Minecraft-Zombies und aus Johannas Zimmer das Rattern einer Nähmaschine.


We, Christoph (31), Johanna (29), Philipp (29) und Sophie (28) just moved into this palace (this is why the pictures still show the chaos of the moving). We all know each other from our studies in Hildesheim, went different ways afterwards and now met each other again in Leipzig. Christoph is a radio journalist, working mostly for Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Johanna works freelance as photographer and finishes her studies of photography in Bielefeld. Philipp currently still works for the Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hannover and Sophie as a theater educationalist in Naumburg. Christoph loves his “Mokkamaster”, Johanna frenchpress coffee, Philipp Coffee with a lot of milk and Sophie Espresso – clearly we complement each other perfectly. One cupboard in the flat is filled with boardgames. From Sophies room one can sometimes hear the sound of an oboe, from Christophs room the calming voice of a radio moderator, from Philipps room the noises of the Minecraft-Zombies and from Johannas room the rattling of a sewing machine.

Die monatliche Miete des Zimmers ist flexibel. Wir wollen die Miete nicht nach Quadratmetern, sondern solidarisch aufteilen. Dafür haben wir unsere Mieten schon durch eine Bietrunde vorläufig festgelegt. Wenn du aber weniger zahlen willst, oder die Miete für die gesamte Wohnung übernehmen möchtest, sind wir auch für Änderungen offen. Durch die große Gemeinschaftsfläche ist die Miete teurer, als man es in Leipzig vielleicht gewohnt ist, dafür kann man sich aber in der Wohnung verlaufen, hat genügend Platz für viele Gäst*innen und kann Verstecken spielen.

The monthly rent of the room is flexible. We don’t want to determine the rent according to the squaremeters, but solidarily. So if you want or need to pay less, or if you want to pay the rent for all of us, that’s fine. Everything is discussable. Because of the big common spaces (around 120m²) the rent is in general higher than one might be used to in Leipzig. But in return one can get lost in the flat, play hide and seek and invite many guests.
