gemütiches WG Zimmer in Reudnitz

Die Wohnung liegt genau an der Grenze zwischen Reudnitz und Neustadt-Neuschönefeld.
Die Haltestellen Koehlerstraße und Gerichtsweg sind in weniger als fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Mit der Linie 4 & 7 bist du innerhalb von fünf Minuten im Zentrum (z.B. an der Uni am Augustusplatz). Mit dem Fahrrad fast noch schneller :)

Aus unserer fünfeckigen Küche guckt man direkt auf den Stephaniplatz, den wir eigentlich nur als unseren Garten bezeichnen. In unserem Haus gibt es einen Späti, einen Döner-Laden und eine kleine Bar. Ganz in der Nähe sind "Olive" und "Napoletana", beide heiß geliebte Food-Spots, zu denen Menschen aus ganz Leipzig pilgern.
Wenn du dich auf dein Fahrrad schwingst, bist du in 5 Minuten auf der Eisi (Eisenbahnstraße), auf der es viele Bars, Cafés und Falafelläden gibt. Wenn du in die andere Richtung fährst, bist du in 3 Minuten im Lene-Park (Café Bubu, Espresso Zack Zack).
Die Straße runter gibt es einen großen Kaufland, Rossmann, Humana, eine Apotheke und eine Sparkasse. In der Umgebung haben wir auch Rewe, Penny, Aldi und einen Denn's.

The flat is located right on the border between Reudnitz and Neustadt-Neuschönefeld.
The Koehlerstraße and Gerichtsweg stops are reachable in less than five minutes walk. You can be in the city centre (e.g. at the university on Augustusplatz) within five minutes on lines 4 & 7. Almost faster by bike :))

Our large kitchen looks out directly onto Stephaniplatz, which we actually just call it our (self-proclaimed )garden. In our building there is a Späti, a kebab shop and a small bar. in the corner. Nearby are Olive Döner shop and Napoletana Pizza Place, both much-loved food spots in Leipzig.
If you hop on your bike, you'll be on Eisi (Eisenbahnstraße) in 5 minutes, where there are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants. If you cycle in the other direction, you can be in Lene Park (Café Bubu, Espresso Zack Zack) in 3 minutes.
Down the road there is a large Kaufland, Rossmann, Humana, a pharmacy and a Sparkasse bank. We also have Rewe, Penny, Aldi and a Denn's in the neighbourhood ;))

in unserer WG ist ein sehr liebevoller und herzlicher Umgang. Wir machen sehr gerne (unterschiedlich viele) Dinge zusammen. Natürlich sehr abhängig von wie stressig grade der Altag ist, gehen wir gerne zusammen aus, basteln oder kochen für-/miteinander und teilen unsere kleinen und großen Sorgen. Das schönste an unserer Wohnung ist die große, fünfeckige Wohnküche. Sie ist der Mittelpunkt unseres Zusammenlebens und wir verbringen gerne viel Zeit miteinander dort.
Deshalb wünschen wir uns eine Mitbewohni Person die Interesse auf ein achtsames und aktives zusammen leben hat, wobei sich alle natürlich immer ihren eigenen Rückzugsort und Space nehmen können. Wir sprechen zuhause einen Mix aus englisch und deutsch und achten darauf sprachlich niemanden aus zu schließen.
Zusammen leben würdest du mit:

Niz (he/him) Er hört unglaublich gerne Musik und würde für Kendrick wahrscheinlich sterben. Ohne wirlichen Plan hat er ein erstaunlich grünen Daumen und hat Zimmerpflanzen im letzten Jahr für sich entdeckt. Er ist gerne draußen und genießt die Sonne. macht Barkeeping als Nebenjob. Gerne zum Hanging oder gemeinsam Musik auf der Gitarre spielen dabei. Kaffee und Mate trinkt er viel, macht ihn aber müde, weshalb regelmäßige Naps auf jedenfall in seinem Alltag integriert sind. Er studiert seid einer Weile Digital Humanities, weiss aber selber garnicht genau was das ist.

Nora (keine/they) ist ein sehr sensibler und achtsamer Mensch. Neben dem PoWi/ Philosophie Studium macht Nora verschiedene Sportkurse und ist aktivistisch unterwegs. Nora hat eine sehr schöne Weise die Welt zu sehen und ist immer für verscheidenste tiefe Gespräche zu haben. Mit Noras Gitarre, ist Nora oft der Kern unserer kleinen Jam Sessions in unserer Wohnzimmer-Küche. Nora hat eine sehr mitreißende Art zu tanzen und ist deshalb eine sehr tolle Ausgeh-Begleitung. In queeren, selbstorganisierten Spaces, mit vielen bunten Menschen fühlt Nora sich am aller wohlsten, braucht aber auch immer mal wieder einen Moment für sich. Nora ist grade im Erasmus und wird erst im März wieder bei uns wohnen! Bis da hin kann es sein dass eine Zwischenmiete in dem Zimmer sein wird :)

Rensy(she/her) spricht mindestens 5 Sprachen und hat grade angefanngen Deutsch als Fremdsprache zu studieren. Sie hat eine sehr warme und offene Art, lacht sehr gerne und ist immer da wenn du sie brauchst. Sehr talentiert aber nicht professionell schneidet sie uns alle die Haare und zusammen mit ihrem Boyfreind Arya rockt sie regelmäßig die besten Outfits oder durchstöbert die Leipziger Flohmärkte. Sie hat ein Fabel für Dinosaourier und K-Pop und schaut gerne Ghibli Filme.

Olivia(sie/ihr) ist ein positiver und strahlender Mensch. Am liebsten ist sie draußen in der Natur und im Sommer viel im Stünzer Park. Sie kennt sich gut mit Vögeln und Bäumen aus und hat eine ansteckende Art von ihren Interessen zu erzählen. Sonst geht sie regelmäßig (und auch sehr früh) ins Gym und spielt sehr toll Geige. Bei ihren Konzerten im Uniorchester sind wir als supportive Wahlfamilie natürlich immer stolz dabei. Olivia studiert Jura und möchte damit gerne ins Umweltrecht.

The atmosphere in our shared flat is lovely and cozy. We enjoy doing different things together and, of course, depending on how stressful our everyday life is at the time. we like to go out together, do handicrafts or cook for/with each other. The best thing about our flat is the large, kitchen/living room. It's the centre of our life together and we like to spend a lot of time together there.

You will be living with:

Niz (he/him) He listens to a lot of music and would probably die for Kendrick. he has an amazing green thumb and discovered houseplant keeping last year. He likes to be outside and enjoy the sun. does barkeeping as a side job. He likes to hang out and sing together with everyone in the flat on the guitar. He drinks a lot of coffee and mate, but it makes him tired, which is why regular naps are definitely part of his daily routine especially during exam phases. He has been studying Digital Humanities for a while, but doesn't know exactly what it is himself.

Nora (none/they) is a sensitive and mindful person. In addition to studying Political sciences/philosophy, Nora takes various sport courses and is an activist. Nora has a very beautiful way of seeing the world and is always available for deep conversations. With Nora's guitar, Nora is often the centre of our little jam sessions in our living room/kitchen. Nora has a very infectious way of dancing and is therefore a great company for going out. Nora feels most at home in queer, self-organised spaces with lots of colourful people, but they also need a moment to themselves every now and then. Nora is currently on Erasmus and won't be staying with us again until March! Until then, They may be renting the room temporarily.

Rensy(she/her) speaks at least 5 languages and has just started to study German as a foreign language. She has a very warm and open soul, loves to laugh and is always there when you need her. Very talented (non-professional) haircutter, and together with her boyfriend Arya she regularly rocks the best outfits or strolls through the Leipzig flea markets. She has a thing for dinosaurs and K-pop and loves watching Ghibli films.

Olivia(she/her) is a positive and glowing person. Her favourite place to be is outside in nature and in summer she spends a lot of time in Stünzer Park. She knows a lot about birds and trees and has a smooth way of talking about her interests. She also goes to the gym regularly (and very early) and plays the violin very well. As a supportive family of choice, we are of course always proud to attend her concerts in the university orchestra. Olivia is studying law and would like to be an environmental lawyer.

Als Queere/ FLINTA*/ Person of Colour WG (auf nicht alle von uns treffen alle Label zu) gehen wir gerne zu queeren/ FLINTA* Partys und legen viel Wert darauf einen safer-Space zuhause zu schaffen in dem wir uns alle sicher und wohl fühlen. In unserer Vergangenheit hatten wir, mit anderen Mitbewohnis, Probleme mit Vorstellung von Haushaltsführung/ Putzaufteilung und wünschen uns eine Person die sensibel und rücksichtsvoll mit den Bedürfnissen anderer umgeht. (Wir haben alle einen ähnlichen und eher hohen Anspruch an Sauberkeit und Ordnung in den Gemeinschaftsräumen)
Ab und zu, wenn es für alle okay ist, wird in der Küche, bei offenem Fenster geraucht.

Selbstverständlich ist es für uns, dass wir keine Toleranz für diskriminierendes Verhalten, wie Homophobie, Rassismus, Sexismus, Transphobie, Antisemitismus, Islamfeindlichkeit, Ableismus und jede andere Diskriminierung, haben.

As a queer/ FLINTA*/ Person of Colour flat share (not all of us fit all the labels) we like to go to queer/ FLINTA* parties and put a lot of emphasis on creating a safer space at home where we all feel safe and comfortable. In our past, with other flatmates, we have had issues with ideas of housekeeping/cleaning and want someone who is sensitive and considerate of the needs of others. (We all have similar and rather high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the common areas)
From time to time, if it's okay with everyone, we smoke in the kitchen with the window open.

It goes without saying that we have no tolerance for discriminatory behaviour such as homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, ableism and any other form of discrimination.
