It's about time after 2,5 years to leave this beautiful room. It looks pretty packed in the pictures because I have been postponing leaving it for a long time. Which means that I quite enjoyed my time here.
The room is not huge but the size is really fine for people without a lot of demands. It fits more things that it seems to fit.
It has a great view from the top floor of the building and the sunsets... Oh those sunsets!
You may see it with a lot of things inside but don't let yourselves be tricked. It's gonna come to you empty or with some things left inside which I would be glad to sell for a fair price (I was thinking the bed but without the mattress, the table or/and the IKEA wardrobe 😛).
The room's wall is neighboring with only one of the other 3 rooms of the house and this is really nice coz it's the most quiet one of the house.
The price is really fair as well. Location wise it's very difficult to find a room like that in this low price.
For more details feel free to text me.
So the building is 2 minutes walking from the Friedrich-List-Platz tram station. In the very beginning of Eisenbahnstraße and parallel to it. Around the upcoming trendy neighborhood offers really cool bars, places to eat, multicultural population, tram and bus connection and super market options of course (REWE 6 min. walk, ALDI 7 min. walk and also multinational small stores with great products in cheap prices).
The Hauptbahnhof is 7 min. walk (and 2 stations by tram), University 15 min. walk (or 3 stations by tram nr. 8) and since the Hauptbahnhof is close by, you are sure that you are strongly connected to the center as well as ANY other area of Leipzig).
If you have a bike every important distance is just a joke 😛
I will introduce you to your potential future flatmates (by alphabetical order, just to be fair):
1) Basti (Sebastian but since the short one starts with "B" I have to respect that), 19 yo:
he comes from another city of Saxony close to Leipzig. He is studying to a dance school and he is the newest addition to the flat. He is really nice and willing. To talk, to smile, to dance... He is rarely home since he is dancing all day long. He is often even out of Leipzig because he has other obligations to other cities.
2) Lucas, 21 yo:
Lucas is very joyful and vivid. He is Argentinian and he is very open to cook, drink something together, go out together and generally his vibes are always very positive and SUPER open minded! He is also working full-time and he is usually back after 16:00 daily and during the weekends he usually goes out 😛
3) Nikola, 25 yo:
My frenemy from NORTH Macedonia 😛 (I'm kidding we are just always joking about this ancient Greek-Macedonian conflict). Nikola is now to be the oldest tenant of the WG (almost 1 year now in this place). Nikola is so open hearted, hard working and very friendly. Maybe the wisest now (no offense for the others, everyone is different). We have had nice times in this house. Drinking together, smoking late night cigarettes, talking about good times, hard times of our lives, social stuff and a little bit of all kinds of stuff actually!
ABOUT THE FLAT CONDITIONS:
The house has 4 separate rooms (one for each tenant). There is a bathroom (we never had problems with the bathroom in the mornings or any other time of day, not only with these roommates but with every single one that has lived here, this is something to brag about) and a small kitchen. But all fully functional. And fully equipped.
There is a neutral zone, a hallway, which nobody ever uses. But in case you wanna use it somehow go on 😛.
There are 2 very strict rules in this house which have to be followed by everyone!
1) be clean. When it comes to the kitchen and bathroom. You will be living with 3 people and after you eat or prepare your food probably somebody else will want to use something that you used. So you have to make sure that you are not an obstacle to anyone's happiness (I assure you that all the others are). There is a cleaning plan. If you are invited for an interview you will be informed about it.
2) after 23:00 the house becomes a ghost house. Everybody is sleeping deeply 💤. So after this time of night everyone has to be quiet. In general this is something I wanted to say anyway, this is not a Party WG. People are very social and friendly but not loud or annoying in some way.
The reason I'm writing everything in English is because English is essential for the flat. German as well but since Nikola doesn't speak German we have to respect that he has to be able to fully communicate with all the other tenants. So I would appreciate if you text me in English.
Don't be scared by the 4th floor. There is an elevator 😛
For contact details I will have to talk with my flatmates. For the time being it's only messages through this website/app.
