Only the centre itself would be more central.
The tram stop: court course is literally right outside the door. This has great advantages that I don't think have to explain, but you have to deal with the urban noise level. This does not really affect your room, because that is the backyard;)

Our WG is in the east of Leipzig.
There are restaurants (Marrakesh & Asian House Sushi - super quality + cheap), some diner shops, the cultural lounge (against the intersection where we live) and the ice cream. The entire city centre & above all university and the Augustusplatz are not far. Lene Voigt Park, Peace Park, right around the corner.
With the tram stop in front of the door you reach all of Leipzig.

In the courtyard you can park your bike.

Zentraler wäre nur noch das Zentrum selbst.
Die Strassenbahnhaltestelle: Gerichtsweg ist buchstäblich direkt vor der Tür. Das hat super Vorteile, die ich glaube nicht erklären muss, allerdings muss man mit dem städtischen Geräuschpegel klarkommen. Das betrifft dein Zimmer nicht so wirklich, denn das liegt ja zum Hinterhof ;)

Unsere WG ist im Osten Leipzigs.
Es gibt Restaurants (Marrakesh & Asian House Sushi - super Qualität + günstig), einige Dönerläden, die Kulturlounge (gegenüber der Kreuzung, an der wir wohnen) und die Eisi. Die gesamte Innenstadt & vor allem Uni und der Augustusplatz sind auch gar nicht weit. Lene Voigt Park, Friedenspark, direkt um die Ecke.
Mit der Strassenbahnhalte vor der Tür erreichst du ganz Leipzig.

Im Innenhof kannst du dein Fahrrad abstellen.

Our WG is ne jewellery, by decades of WG revival somewhat dry, but lovingly cared and self-configured old building WG with high walls and many windows.

We own the whole floor of the 3. OGs in the house, a separate basement compartment in the otherwise quite unused basement, as well as a small basement for bicycles and a mini garden in the backyard.
The apartment itself consists of kitchen, small bathroom, large bathroom, 5 WG rooms for a total of 5 inhabitants and a long house corridor that connects all these rooms together.

We are currently Martin, Maya, Emyd, Nico and Kamil (draws out).


Martin works professionally as a sound engineer and also makes a lot of music & sound in his spare time:D
Sometimes he is in the WG for a few days, sometimes he is not there and several days at work for events, festivals or. If he's in Leipzig, you can always convince him for a pub night.

Maya works as a physiotherapist and is a lot on the go in Leipzig, she has all kinds of projects, especially when it comes to Latino-feminist actions. She likes to bake and cook super and is always for a common mate in the kitchen.

Nico is currently doing German course is ITler and takes his free time to the guitar or attends celebrations, Raves and is as much on the go. From time to time, he is in his homeland (Argentina) to get all the summer.

Emyd is relatively fresh in our WG, but has been super active and spends a lot of time in his room or kitchen, as he is just full of his master thesis (music sciences). He's like Maya and Nico from Latin America and super relaxed.

Unsere WG ist ne schmucke, durch Jahrzehnte der WG-Belebung etwas heruntergerockte, aber liebevoll gepflegte und selbst mitgestaltete Altbau-WG mit hohen Wänden und vielen Fenstern.

Uns gehört das ganze Stockwerk des 3. OGs im Haus, ein eigenes Kellerabteil im ansonsten ziemlich ungenutzten Keller, sowie ein kleiner Unterstand für Fahrräder und ein Mini-Garten im Hinterhof.
Die Wohnung selbst besteht aus Wohnküche, kleinem Bad, großem Bad, 5 WG-Zimmern für insgesamt 5 Bewohner*innen und einem langen Hausflur, der all diese Räume miteinander verbindet.

Wir sind aktuell Martin, Maya, Emyd, Nico und Kamil ( zieht aus ).


Martin arbeitet beruflich als Tontechniker und macht auch in seiner Freizeit ganz viel mit Musik & Ton :D
Manchmal ist er für ein paar Tage am Stück in der WG, manchmal ist er gar nicht da und mehrere Tage auf Arbeit für Veranstaltungen, Festivals o. Ä.. Wenn er in Leipzig ist, kannst du ihn aber auf jeden Fall immer für einen Kneipenabend überzeugen.

Maya arbeitet als Physiotherapeutin und ist viel in Leipzig unterwegs, sie hat allerhand Projekte, insbesondere wenn es um Latino-feministische Aktionen geht. Sie backt und kocht super gern und ist immer für eine gemeinsame Mate in der Küche zu haben.

Nico macht momentan Deutschkurs ist ITler und greift in seiner freien Zeit zur Gitarre oder besucht Feiern, Raves und ist ebenso viel unterwegs. Ab und an ist er in seiner Heimat ( Argentinien ) um überall den Sommer abzubekommen :).

Emyd ist relativ frisch in unserer WG, hat sich aber super eingelebt und verbringt viel Zeit in seinem Zimmer oder der Küche, da er grade voll in seiner Masterarbeit ( Musikwissenschaften ) steckt. Er ist wie Maya und Nico aus Lateinamerika und super relaxed.

We are a colorful bunch and are looking for someone who has the pleasure of shaping the WG life. It would be good if you felt safe in English.
We respect all sorts of differences and individual life rhythms (excluded racist, sexist,...views/ you already know.) It is important to us to have fair communication, respectful, engaging and warm interaction with each other and that everyone feels at home. We deal with music, art, cooking, movement and are happy to travel in nature.

Zusammenfassend kann man sagen:
Wir sind ein bunter Haufen und suchen jemanden, der/die Freude daran hat, das WG-Leben mitzugestalten. Wäre schon gut, wenn du dich in der englischen Sprache einigermaßen sicher fühlst.
Wir respektieren jede Art von Unterschiedlichkeiten und individuellen Lebensrhythmen (ausgeklammert rassistische, sexistische,...Ansichten/ ihr wisst schon..) Wichtig ist uns, eine faire Kommunikation, ein respektvoller, anteilnehmender und herzlicher Umgang miteinander und dass sich jeder zu Hause fühlt. Wir beschäftigen uns mit Musik, Kunst, Kochen, Bewegung und sind gerne in der Natur unterwegs.
