Hey there!
We're looking for a housemate to rent one of your rooms from October 2022 – ideally as soon as possible. If you're an open-minded, fun person who is up for spontaneous get-togethers or a chill movie night, you'll be just right to text us :)
Ideally, we'd be looking for someone female-identifying, but we're generally looking for a great fit – the same principle applies to the age bracket.
Located in the middle of Seeburgviertel, Zentrum-Südost, our apartment is about 125m², and your room faces towards the back of the building – it's nice and quiet with lots of daylight. The room is approximately 13m², one of the smaller ones in the flat. The built-in mezzanine frees up floor space and allows for any home-sport activity, a working area and possibly a sofa. I would like to leave my mattress behind (only six months old), but that's up to you – there might even be some plants up for grabs.
In total, the monthly rent all-inclusive is 251€ (incl. bills, radio tax and internet costs). This might change, though, due to the expected increase in energy bills.
We have one bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine. The kitchen provides everything you need (yes, there's a dishwasher!), and it's spacious enough to fit in quite a nice group of friends to cook together or hang out with.
The location is really great. You are at the entrance of the city centre, 7 minutes away on foot from the S-Bahn, 5 minutes away from the closest tram. By bike, you can get to parks in the east and the west within 10 minutes, and you can get to Cospudener see in 40 mins.
Since we're in the middle of Leipzig, all the other parts are easily reachable by bike. Supermarkets are close too. There are 2 Edekas within walking distance for last-minute shopping. Aldi and dm are 7 mins on foot or a few mins by bike.
We're three people, and you'd be the fourth in the apartment. We are Colombian and Italian.
Maria Chiara (29) is Italian and is doing her PhD in environmental engineering and water management. She enjoys going out for beers, playing capoeira or improvising some dancing in her free time!
Alessandro (32) is from Italy and is doing his PhD in Neuro-Science. He enjoys foraging (mushrooms in particular), games, art science hybridisation, and chilling.
Nicolas (29), the latest arrival in the flat, is from Colombia; he is a sociologist, like photography and reading and loves outdoor activities such as cycling.
If our schedules allow it, we like to do stuff together, have a beer or have lovely nights in with home-cooked meals, board games, movies or simply good talks and laughter.
Weekly cleaning is divided between the four of us, as are basic expenses for common household items.
Open communication is important, and we are looking for someone comfortable with English.
To sum it up, we are looking for someone easy-going, clean and chill to stay with us for the foreseeable future.
If you're interested, please send us a message
– in English
– with a short text introducing yourself.
!!!Messages not applying to the above requests will not be considered!!!
We will then reach out to you to set a date to get to know each other. We're looking forward to hearing from you :)
