Location
The WG is located in the middle of Leipzig, more precisely in Volkmarsdorf. It is also fast to the railway road if you want to experience something there. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet, probably because we don't have neighbors over us. There are also many parking possibilities here, you can find something in the vicinity relatively quickly. Otherwise, after about 5 minutes walk (3 minutes, if you run) you will be on the tram that also passes directly to the main campus and in the ten-minute cycle. Shopping is possible among other things at Kaufland, on foot you are there in 8 minutes. There are also some small parks nearby to relax, especially the Lene-Voigt-Park is highly recommended if you want to have company :) Bars, like the regular bar or substance, are also on foot and the garage East is also not far away.

Lage
Die WG ist mitten im Osten von Leipzig gelegen, genauer in Volkmarsdorf. Man ist dementsprechend auch schnell an der Eisenbahnstraße, wenn man dort was erleben will. Ansonsten ist es ziemlich ruhig, liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass wir über uns keine Nachbar*innen haben. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt's hier auch viele, man findet eigentlich immer relativ schnell was in der Nähe. Ansonsten ist man nach ungefähr 5 Minuten Fußweg (3 min, wenn man rennt) an der Straßenbahn, die auch direkt zum Hauptcampus durchfährt und das im Zehn-Minuten-Takt. Einkaufen kann man unter anderem bei Kaufland, zu Fuß ist man in 8 Minuten da. Außerdem gibt es noch einige kleine Parks in der Nähe zum Entspannen, vor allem der Lene-Voigt-Park ist sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man Lust auf Gesellschaft hat :) Auch Bars, wie die Stammbar oder Substanz liegen fußläufig und die Garage Ost ist auch nicht weit entfernt.

WG life
Our WG consisted of three people by the end of April: Nora (I am) studies human medicine in the 4th Semester, Vicky studies veterinary medicine in the 6th Semester, but is currently still in a free year, and Rebecca studies law in the 8th semester. We lived together for 1.5 years in the constellation and had a nice time together. We now virtually dissolve the WG, but leave it all at different times.
I (Nora) have moved out since the end of April and now rent my room as an intermediate rental until October, as my rental contract is still running for so long or it can also be taken over permanently with a new rental contract.
Vicky will also pull out in May and has to give a room (even with a balcony), there is also a separate ad. See :)
Rebecca will remain in the WG until the end of September, then it is freed from university duties in Leipzig and moves to her friend to another city. She would be very happy about company until then!
Due to the big change, you can't define the WG life so precisely, it depends on the people who live here in the future. In any case, there is a chance to bring together friends or to participate in the selection of future cohabitants :)

WG-Leben
Unsere WG bestand bis Ende April aus drei Personen: Nora (das bin ich) studiert Humanmedizin im 4. Semester, Vicky studiert Tiermedizin im 6. Semester, befindet sich aber aktuell noch in einem freien Jahr, und Rebecca studiert Jura im 8. Semester. Wir haben 1,5 Jahre in der Konstellation zusammen gelebt und eine schöne Zeit gemeinsam gehabt. Wir lösen die WG jetzt quasi auf, verlassen sie aber alle zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten.
Ich (Nora) bin bereits seit Ende April ausgezogen und vermiete mein Zimmer jetzt noch als Zwischenmiete bis Oktober, da mein Mietvertrag noch so lange läuft bzw kann es auch sofort dauerhaft übernommen werden mit einem neuen Mietvertrag.
Vicky wird ebenfalls im Mai ausziehen und hat also ein Zimmer abzugeben (sogar mit Balkon), dazu gibt es auch eine separate Anzeige schon. Schaut da gerne vorbei :)
Rebecca wird noch bis Ende September in der WG bleiben, dann ist sie von Unipflichten in Leipzig befreit und zieht zu ihrem Freund in eine andere Stadt. Sie würde sich sehr über Gesellschaft bis dahin freuen!
Durch den großen Wechsel kann man das WG Leben nicht so genau definieren, hängt ja einfach von den Personen ab, die in Zukunft hier wohnen. Auf jeden Fall bietet sich hier die Chance mit Freund*innen zusammen zu ziehen oder bei der Auswahl zukünftiger Mitbewohnis mitzubestimmen :)

Sonstiges
Ich habe in mein Fenster ein passendes Rollo eingebaut, das jetzt 1,5 Jahre alt ist und für das ich gerne noch ein wenig Geld hätte, da kann man nochmal konkret über den Preis reden.
Schreibt mir gerne jederzeit, wenn ihr euch vorstellen könntet, bei uns einzuziehen. Dann können wir auch gerne einen Termin vereinbaren, damit ihr euch die Wohnung mal selbst anschauen könnt :)
