In unserer Wohnung werden zum September zwei Zimmer frei. Beide sind etwa 16,5 qm groß, gemütlich und leise. Wir wohnen im vierten Stock eines Altbaues und gegenüber steht kein Haus, dadurch sind die Zimmer auch schön hell und es gibt einen unvergleichbaren Ausblick über die Gleise und Dächer Schönefelds!

Unsere Wohnung hat 5 Zimmer, 2 große Badezimmer, einen geräumigen Flur und eine helle Küche mit sonnigem Balkon zum Hinterhof, den wir uns mit den anderen WGs und Mitbewohner*innen im Haus teilen. Nicht zu vergessen ist unser zweiter Balkon mit Panoramablick Richtung Nordwesten.

There will be two free rooms at the end of August in our flat. Both of the rooms are about 16,5 sqm large, bright and quiet. Since we are living in an fairly old building on fourth floor and no building opposite to us, the rooms are bright and have a remarkable view over train tracks and rooftops of Schönefeld!
(We'll upload pictures of the rooms in the next days.)
Our flat has 5 rooms, 2 large bathrooms, a spacious corridor and our kitchen with lots of light and a sunny balcony facing the backyard. We share the backyard with our housemates. And we have a second balcony facing the Mariannenstraße.
Die Wohnung liegt in Volkmarsdorf - direkt um die Ecke ist die Eisenbahnstraße. Dort und in den Seitenstraßen findest du vieles von Supermärkten und Döner-/Falafelläden bis zu Bars und Cafes. Ins Grüne kommst du auch schnell: direkt vor der Haustür ist eine Brachfläche - aka Eastpark :) - mit Spielplatz und Tischtennisplatte und auch zum Mariannenpark muss mensch nur einmal die Gleise überqueren.
Die Anbindung ist auch top: mit der Tram oder dem Fahrrad bist du in weniger als 10 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof oder in der Innenstadt.

The flat is located in Volkmarsdof right around the corner of the Eisenbahnstraße. There and in the neighboring streets you can find a lot from supermarkets and kebab/falafel to bars and cafes. Directly opposite our house is a nice space of fallow land - aka Eastpark ;) - with a playground and a table-tennis table and also the Mariannenpark is just a few minutes walk away.
If you want to get to the city center or the main station it's just 10 minutes by tram or bike.
Die WG befindet sich diesen Sommer in einem recht großen Umbruch. Nachdem Emil Ende Juni ausgezogen ist, um nach Kanada zu gehen, werden zum September auch Helen und Svea die WG verlassen - Svea möchte grade lieber alleine wohnen und Helen zieht aus Leipzig weg, um ein Jahrespraktikum in Altenburg zu machen.
In der WG wohnen bleiben aber Ludwig und Simon. Während Ludwig aktuell eine neue Aufgabe in Form eines Ausbildungsplatzes sucht und sich seine Zeit mit Basteleien und Fahrrad-Schraubereien vertreibt, schreibt Simon seine Bachelorarbeit und entdeckt grade ein neues, altes Hobby neu.
Wir haben bisher ein vertrautes und gemeinsames Zusammenleben in der WG geführt und möchten das auch weiterhin beibehalten. Uns ist wichtig, dass jede*r sich zuhause und wohl fühlt und wir wissen, was bei den anderen grade so im Leben passiert und wir Zeit miteinander verbringen. Wir kochen und essen gerne zusammen, verquatschen uns oft in der Küche oder aufm Balkon, machen kleinere Unternehmungen in der Nachbarschaft und auch größere Ausflüge z.B. an Seen.
Wir teilen all unser Essen und unsere Lebensmittel in der Küche - sog. Kühlschrankkommunismus ;) Einen Großteil unseres Gemüses bekommen wir von einer solidarischen Landwirtschaft (dadurch kommen nochmal 18€ auf die Miete drauf).
Die WG befindet sich grade sehr im Umbruch und dadurch ergeben sich ja auch viele neue Möglichkeiten und Chancen Dinge zu verändern und zu gestalten. Deshalb suchen wir neue Mitbewohner*inne, die darauf Lust haben und bereit sind, die WG und das gemeinschaftliche WG-Leben mitzugestalten.

The WG is currently undergoing quite big changes. After Emil moved out at the end of June to move to Cananda, Helen and Svea will also leave us at the end of August - Svea wants to live on her own and Helen will move to Altenburg for a year-long internship.
Ludwig and Simon will stay in the flat. While Ludwig is looking for an apprenticeship and working on some projects in the flat or with his bikes, Simon is writing his bachelor thesis and rediscovering a new, old hobby.
Our WG-life has been familiar and close and we'd like to keep it like that. For us it's important that everyone is feeling comfortable and well at home and to know what's happening in each others lives and to spend time together. We like to cook together, spend time and talk in the kitchen or on the balconies and go out in our neighborhood or for longer trips to lakes.
We share all our food in the kitchen and obtain most of our vegetables from an Solawi (solidarische Landwirtschaft, "community supported agriculture" - it's 18€ per month and person).
The WG ist currently changing, thus there are plenty of opportunities for changes. For that reason, we are looking for new flatmates who are open for change and up to engaging in and shaping our WG-life.
