In nicht Corona-Zeiten ist im Leipziger Osten richtig was los: Egal ob Partys in leerstehenden Häusern, Küfas, super Spätis oder günstige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wer kein Fan von Langweile ist, gehört hier her: Zwischen die lebendige Eisenbahnstraße und den entspannten Parks.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten
Supermärkte wie Aldi, Netto, Konsum und unser Lieblingsladen "im Angbot" sind in unter 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Darüber hinaus befinden sich viele Bars, Küfas, Spätis, Dönerläden und Pizzerien in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Der Bus 70 fährt direkt vor unserer Haustür in den Süden der Stadt. Zur der Tramstation der Linie 1, 3 & 8
sind es ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß.

Parks
An unser Wohnhaus grenzt zudem der Park "Rabet", der mit Grillplätzen, Basketballkörben, Tischtennisplatten und Grünflächen lockt. Der Mariannenpark, Lene Voigt Park und ein paar kleinere Parks sind auch schnell zu erreichen.

In non-Corona times, Leipzig East is really busy: whether parties in empty houses, Küfas, Spätis... If you are not a fan of boredom, you belong here: between the lively Eisenbahnstraße and the relaxed parks.

Shopping possibilities
Supermarkets like Aldi, Netto, Konsum and our favorite store "im Angbot" are within 5 minutes walking distance. In addition, there are many bars, Küfas, Spätis, kebab stores and pizzerias very close.

Public transportation
Bus 70 leaves directly from our front door to the south of the city. The Tram 1, 3 & 8
is about 5 minutes on foot.

Parks
Close to our apartment building is also the park "Rabet", which attracts with barbecue areas, basketball court, table tennis tables and green spaces. The Mariannenpark, Lene Voigt Park and a few smaller parks are also within easy reach.

Wer hier wohnt: Lukas (27) Masterstudent der VWL, Isa (25), Masterstudentin und Lehrerin für Deutsch als Fremdsprache und Jonny (28) ist gerade klimaaktivstisch unterwegs und sucht einen Job. Zusätzlich lebt hier die kleine Merle, unsere WG-Katze. Wenn du die nicht im Zimmer haben magst, ist das voll okay, dann kannst du einfach deine Tür zumachen. Aber sie ist viel in den Gemeinschaftsräumen und auf dem Balkon anzutreffen, also wirst du ihr immer mal über den Weg laufen.

Unter uns wohnt eine andere WG, mit der wir uns gut verstehen. Wir essen regelmäßig zusammen oder machen andere Sachen. Wer Lust und Zeit hat, kommt einfach dazu, gerne auch Freund:innen. Im Sommer nutzen wir unseren Balkon als Wohnzimmer. Der Innenhof ist zwar eigentlich ein Parkplatz, aber wir haben dort auch schon ein, zwei Beton-Garten-Feste gefeiert und im Sommer mit dem Beamer Filme an der Hauswand geschaut (wir haben auch eine Tischtennisplatte). Also kurzum: Hier kommt keine Langeweile auf.

Wir haben eine Gemüsekiste und auch Kühlschrank-Kommunismus, aber es gibt auch ein "Ego-Fach" - was du nicht teilen möchtest, musst du nicht teilen. Wir interessieren uns für Nachhaltigkeit, gutes Essen (vegan/vegetarisch), Yoga, Bouldern, Politik, gemütliche Abende mit Wein und einem guten Film, gehen in nicht-Pandemie-times auch auf Konzerte, Parties in Hausprojekten und co. und auch gerne mal ins Theater und zu sonstigen Kultur- und Polit-Events.

Who lives here: Lukas (27) is a master student of economics, Isa (25) is a master student and teacher for German as a foreign language and Jonny (28) is looking for a job and currently into climate activism. Also little Merle is living here, our WG-cat. If you don’t want her to enter your room that’s fine, you can just close the door. Nevertheless she’s hanging around a lot in the shared spaces and the balcony so you’re definitely going to see her every now and then.

Below us lives another WG, with which we get along well with. We regularly eat together or do other things. Whoever wants to and has the time, just joins us, friends are welcome as well. In summer we use our balcony as a living room. The inner courtyard is actually a parking lot, but we have already celebrated one or two garden parties there and in the summer we watched movies on the house wall with the projector (we also have a table tennis table). So in short, there's never a boring moment here.

We have a vegetable box and also refrigerator communism, but we also have our "ego-shelf" - so you don't have to share what you don't want to share. We are interested in sustainability, good food (mostly vegan & vegetarian), yoga, bouldering, politics, cozy evenings with wine and a good movie, go in non-pandemic times also to concerts, parties in house projects and so on and also like to go to the theater and other cultural and political events.

Wir wollen bestimmte Kämpfe in unserem Zu Hause nicht kämpfen müssen...heißt konkret wir wollen hier niemanden, der:die rassistisch, sexistisch, homophob, transfeindlich oder irgendeine andere Art von diskriminierend ist.
