Flatshare

Hi there!

My flatmate is moving for her masters so I am looking for a new flatmate with a move-in date to be confirmed, but sometime later in the summer. I remember the struggle of trying to find a flat in Cologne when I did Erasmus there, which is why I thought I would pop this ad on here in case any germans (or international - I don't mind!) are looking for flats in London.

I am Swiss (german part), but I have been living and studying in London for three years. This upcoming fall, I am going to commence the SQE (the solicitor's qualifying exam), which means I will be quite busy and would appreciate a calm living environment. Generally, I do need quite a bit of alone and downtime. At the same time, however, I am hoping to live with someone that I genuinely get along with and have some cosy evenings! It would be probably nice if you are veggie too. I am happy to discuss more about both our envisioned best-case scenarios of sharing a space :)!

The flat is on Caledonian Road and has balconies on either side, with your room having a private balcony. I am not sure about the m2 of the room and there is no floor plan so 15qm is a wild guess. There is a living room attached to your room, which I barely use. There is a shared kitchen and bathroom. The utilities bills vary (e.g., they are lower in summer - broken down in an average per month probably 30 pounds with wifi) and are not included in the rent. If you are not studying, you would also be liable for council tax, which would probably be an extra 100 pounds a month.

Happy to discuss further and provide more information, but I am not even sure if an add on here will be noticed by anyone so I am gonna leave it at that for now!
