Your brand new renovated room is perfectly illuminated by the south orientated window from which you can see the university on the other side of the street.
In general, the complete apartment was made new and has a high standard. We have a luxurious bathroom, a heating floor, a brand new fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher) and all materials which were selected contribute to a very modern touch. This is a one of its kind apartment for Lüneburg.
Please note that the room is *not* furnished!
The flat is directly beneath the Leuphana Campus in Bockelsberg so you'll need one minute to sit in the courses :)
The connection to the city is very good: there are several bus stations a few steps from the house and a free bike station on the other side of the street. The city center is less than 10 min by bike or 20 min by foot.
Supermarkets are only 5 to 10 min away by foot (Penny Markt, Edeka, etc).
Closeby there is the green area called Wilschenbruch where you can enjoy the nature or go jogging/biking, surrounded by the forest, a beautiful river and green fields.
I am Frauke, 23 yrs old, study culture sciences in 6th semester. Before I was abroad in Cape Town. I enjoy to talk while having a glass wine (or non-alcoholic beverage too :) in the kitchen, to cook together, or watch series :)
I am Vanessa, 19 yrs old and study economics and english in 3rd semester. I am in Lüneburg as an Ersamus student for one year, yet I'd like to stay there. I have previously studied in Cyprus (UNIC). I am on open and spontaneous person which likes to cook together and/or share some drinks while chatting around.
In our flatshare we like conviviality and also making stuff together, which does not mean that you cannot enjoy having a rest alone.
The rental is a flat lump sum with all utilities included apart from electricity (water, heating, internet), regarding electricity we share the cost and pay 35€ each.
The minimum rental period is one year, because we do not like permanently moving in and out. You close a contract directly with our land lord, that allows you to be independent when you'll like to move out.
