Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und hell. Es gibt zwei Fenster, ein Dachschrägenfenster und ein kleineres Fenster zur Straße, von wo man die Ilmenau und den Wasserturm sehen kann. Es gibt eine Dachschräge, trotzdem entsteht dadurch kein Platzmangel. Menschen mit viel Kram bekommen hier alles unter und Menschen mit weniger Kram haben immer genug Raum zum ausgiebig tanzen und yogen.
Das Zimmer befindet sich im vorderen Teil der Wohnung. Von der Wohnungstür betritt man einen langen Gang, von dem dein Zimmer als erstes abgeht. Dann gibt es noch nebenan ein Zimmer deiner Mitbewohni, sowie Vorratskammer, WC und Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine und Dusche. Dann gehts in die gemütliche Wohnküche, die mit Sofa und "Küchentheke" zum gemeinsamen chillen und kochen einlädt. Hinter der Küche ist das Doppelzimmer deiner anderen beiden Mitbewohnis und von dort aus geht es auch auf unsere wunderschöne Dachterasse, mit Sonnensegel, Erdbeeren und vielerlei Vögel zum Beobachten.
Die Wohnung ist in einem guten Zustand und hat sogar noch einen Dachboden, den wir als Stauraum nutzen können. Für Fahrräder ist Platz im Flur.

The room is very spacious and bright. There are two windows, one slanted at the roof and another smaller one from which you can see the river Ilmenau and the water tower. On one side of the room is a sloped roof. However, this doesn't create a lack of space. People with a lot of stuff will be able to fit everythig in and people will less stuff have enough space to dance and do yoga in their room.
The room is located in the front part of the flat. From the flat door you enter a long corridor, from which your room is the first. Then there is another room of your flatmate next door, as well as a pantry, toilet and bathroom with washing machine and shower. Then you enter the cosy kitchen-living room, which invites you to chill out and cook together with its sofa and "kitchen counter". Behind the kitchen is the double room of your other two flatmates and from there you also have access to our beautiful roof terrace, with awnings, strawberries and many birds to watch.
The flat is in good condition and even has an attic that we can use for storage. There is space for bicycles in the hallway.
Unsere WG liegt im Herzen Lüneburgs. Zu Fuß bist du in 6 Minuten am Bahnhof und in 2 Minuten Am Sande, wo es diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt und Busse in alle Richtungen abfahren. Mit dem Fahrrad bist du in 5 Minuten am Kreidebergsee, in 10 Minuten an der Ilmenau im Wald und in 12 Minuten an der Uni. Du wohnst nicht in der Innenstadt, du bist die Innenstadt Lüneburgs!

The flat lies in the heart of Luneburg--it’s less than 6 minutes walk to the train station, and within 3 minutes you are right in Am Sande, the main shopping area of the city, with plenty of stores, cafes, bus stops, and even a supermarket in case you’re after some snacks. With a bike, you’re at the Kreideberg Lake in 5 minutes, the Ilmenau in 10 minutes, and the Uni in 12. You don’t live in the inner city--you are the inner city!
In der Wg wohnen momentan Lotte, Leo und Eleonore, alle Studis der Umweltwissenschaften im 8. Semester, wobei Leo und Eleonore auch bald für ihre Master aus Lüneburg verschwinden werden.
Bei uns ist eine offene und fröhliche Stimmung, die gerne zu spontanen Tanzsessions ausartet. Die Musikanlage verwandelt unseren Wohnbereich ziemlich schnell in die Maeckes besungene "Partyküche". Generell ist die Küche mit der gemütlichen Sitzecke der Dreh- und Angelpunkt der WG: Hier kochen wir gerne gemeinsam oder sitzen in ausgedehnten Kaffeepausen zum quatschen beisammen. Dann wird die Küchenhalbinsel in der Mitte des Raumes zum Tresen, Coffeehouse-Feeling inklusive. Basics wie Müsli, Nudeln, Sojasauce und Schokolade teilen wir. Einen Teil dieser Dinge haben wir bisher von Koko, dem Studi-Unverpacktladen, bezogen - Lotte ist da sehr im Thema. Abends sind wir für den ein oder anderen Spiele-/Filmabend zu haben, aber es ist natürlich auch jederzeit ok, mal Zeit für sich zu brauchen und sich zurückzuziehen. Mit Blick auf die Johanniskirche und krumme Backsteinhäuschen ist unsere Dachterrasse das absolute Highlight, welche bei Sonnenschein zu einem ausladenden Frühstück, oder mit Sonnenschutz zu outside Worksessions einlädt. Dabei können wir dann dem Trompeter der Kirche lauschen. Wenn ihr den bisher noch nicht gehört habt, wird sich das jetzt definitiv ändern!

At the moment Lotte, Leo and Eleonore are living here, all students of Environmental Sciences in the 8th semester, although Leo and Eleonore will also be leaving Lüneburg soon for their Masters.
We have an open and cheerful atmosphere that likes to escalate into spontaneous dance sessions. The music system quickly transforms our living area into the "Partyküche" sung about by Maeckes. The kitchen with its cozy couches is the centerpiece of the WG: Here we enjoy cooking together or meeting for a chat during coffee breaks. Then the kitchen peninsula becomes the counter, coffeehouse feeling included. We share basics like cereal, noodles, soy sauce and chocolate. Some of these things we have so far obtained from Koko, the package-free student store; Lotte is very much into that. In the evenings we are also up for one or the other game/movie night, but of course it is always ok if you need some time to keep to yourself. With a view on the Johannniskirche and crooked brick houses, our roof terrace is the absolute highlight, which invites you to an extensive breakfast in the sunshine. We can then listen to the church's trumpeter. If you haven't heard him yet, that will definitely change now!
