Huhu!
Man muss also eigentlich nie selbst einkaufen gehen, alles ist da!

Hello!
We are looking for a new tenant for our 6-person shared flat in the housing project Raeume (www.raeume.org) from June/July (depending on how it suits you, preferably from June). The room is round, approx. 19m² in size, has parquet flooring and underfloor heating, windows facing northwest and southwest and is located on the 2nd floor. The apartment is located in two former silos (towers), which have been converted into living space. It was completed in May 2023, so it is still very new. The rooms are spread over three levels. The kitchen and our bathroom are on the ground floor. So at best you should enjoy walking up and down stairs :) (There is no bathroom upstairs.)
Kirstin (28), Nana (28) and Rasmus (36), Astrid and Tobi (30) live in the house. Nana will probably move out within the next few weeks and Mia (21) will move in in her place. In the longer term, Astrid, Kirstin and Rasmus will also move out. There is a lovely terrace (with beautiful evening sun) in front of the silo where we can have dinner together or play Doppelkopf, for example, and the silo stands in a large courtyard with a huge garden, which is shared by everyone in the housing project.
The stated basic rent is an estimated warm rent. In addition to the rent, there is an estimated household and food contribution of 165 euros, which is paid by everyone who lives on our yard. We buy our food collectively from wholesalers, food sharing and other sources and have a huge pantry. Cleaning products, washing powder, toilet paper etc. are also included in the contribution. With this you will almost never have to go to the store, everything is already here!:) The rent and household contribution are decided individually every six months in a project-wide bidding round based on your own financial means. You decide how much to pay based on your own possibilities.

Your new cohabitation will be:
Tobi (30): studies “Sustainability: Governance and Law” at Leuphana. He also works as a team leader in educational projects around sustainability. He appreciates a home with a good mood, exchange and maybe even some cooking. In his spare time he likes to be outside – during hiking, climbing or on his small plot. Besides, he likes to make music.
Mia (all pronouns) is 21 years old and studies in the 6th Semester Environmental Sciences and Education (even the bachelor's thesis is up, but this takes at least one year after that until the Bachelor is finished). Otherwise, Mia spends a lot of time making music and producing songs, is active at SCHLAU Lüneburg and in a queerfeminist band and also generally tries to spend as little time as possible with university to cook more time for bullshit, friends, Hofalltag, (together), swing and have other beautiful things 🌱💜
Astrid is very active, secluded and sailor and professional scientist.
Rasmus (36): landscape architect, likes to grow and likes nerd-Quatsch
Nana (28): is happy in nature and has several sewing projects running. She likes to meet with friends and performs WG activities, but sometimes also takes time for herself. After studying at Leuphana Uwi (Environmental Sciences), she will now begin her Master in Sustainability Science.
Kirstin (28): has been living on the farm for 2 1/2 years and has taken care of the terrain and ecological as well as insect-friendly planting:) she has studied at leuphana UWI as she has worked in the bicycle workshop and recently started working in climate protection management. Otherwise she likes to cook and eat together, nappt much or just go to bed early 😉 (Long covid history)
There will be a fairly long-term change in the WG occupation. Mia and Tobi remain in any case:)
The WG is not a purpose WG. We cook and eat together, play something, play music or watch a movie together. If who is ill, we support each other. We would like to have a person who wants to live together together in a community:) So far, we have spoken both English and German in the WG. With the new occupation we need to see what language is best for everyone.
The residential project is organized jointly, so there are regular farm events such as building days, campfire, sauna, Sunday's double head, etc., where people from other WG's are also present in the farm.

Your new flatmates will be:
Tobi (30): is studying “Sustainability: Governance and Law” at Leuphana. He also works as a freelance team leader in educational projects related to sustainability. He appreciates a home with a good atmosphere, socializing and maybe cooking together. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors - hiking, climbing or on his small allotment. So enjoy really making music.
Mia (all pronouns) is 21 years old and is in the 6th semester studying environmental sciences and educational science (currently working on the Bachelor's thesis, but it will take at least another year before the Bachelor's degree is complete). Apart from that, Mia dons a lot of time making music and producing songs, is active in SCHLAU Lüneburg and in a queerfeminist gang and generally tries to donate as little time as possible at university to have more time for nonsense, friends, everyday life on the farm, cooking (together), swinging and other nice things 🌱💜
Astrid is very active, sociable, a sailor and a scientist by profession.
Rasmus (36): landscape architect, likes gardening and nerdy stuff
Nana (28): enjoys being in nature and has several sewing projects ongoing. She enjoys meeting friends and WG and sometimes needs some time to be alone. After studying Uwi (Environmental Science) at Leuphana, she will now start her Masters in Sustainability Science.
Kirstin (27): has lived here for 2 1/2 years and enjoy taking care of the grounds and ecological and insect-friendly planting:) She studied at Leuphana UWI, worked in the bicycle workshop and recently started working in climate protection management. Otherwise, she likes to cook and eat together, nap a lot or just go to bed early 😉 (long covid history)
There will be rather a lot of changes in the shared flat in the longer term. But Mia and Tobi will definitely stay:)
The housing project is generally organized as a community, so there are regular communal events search as building days, campfires, sauna, Sunday Doppelkopf (Card-game), etc. where people from other shared flats are so present.

Deine neuen Mitbewohnis werden:
Tobi (30): studiert „Sustainability: Governance and Law“ an der Leuphana.

In addition, our WG and our house are part of the RAEUME residential project. We are a left-politically shaped, solidarity-based residential project and live here together with 42 adults and 14 children on the 10,000m2 site. There are several buildings, ecologically developed, yet not yet refurbished with different WGs and individual units. We are shaping the great farm life in Plena, where we decide on consensus. Each farm member is also part of a working group. We bring our rent in solidarity, as well as our contribution to the vegan-vegetarian food that we receive together from the wholesale/food sharing etc. We have people and groups that deal with critical masculinity, anti-discrimination, anarchism, feminism, sustainability, climate movement, social justice, utopias etc. We just want to be part of a positive change for the world and look for people who share this vision.
Here you will find our own understanding:

Life in such a large farm project is colorful, diverse, enriching and sometimes challenging. In time here you can get to know our structures and learn how an attempt of solidarity and ecological coexistence can look. If it fits, we would be happy if you become part of the project and actively shape your new home:)
