Ich werde nicht lügen, das Zimmer ist nicht sehr besonders oder schön, hat aber dafür eine sehr geringe Miete. Im Grunde kommt es darauf an was du mit dem Zimmer machst. Aber obwohl es direkt neben den Gleisen des Hauptbahnhofs liegt (was auch nicht uninteressant ist), hört man fast nichts. Das Zimmer hat sehr gute Fenster die fast keinen Lärm hindurchlassen. Die Fenster sind an der Ostseite, was heisst dass genügend Licht hineinkommt. Leider ist das Zimmer nicht möbliert, was aber, solltest du aus Deutschland kommen, nicht unbedingt ein Problem ist. Falls du Möbel kaufen musst, werde ich sehr gerne beim transportieren helfen.

I will not lie to you, to room is not very special or beautiful, but therefore it comes with a very low rent. It all depends on how much effort you put into decorating it. But although it lies directly next to the tracks of the train station (which is actually quite interesting), you can almost hear nothing. The room has some really good windows which block out most noise. The window is directed to the east, which means that it is definitely not a dark room. Unfortunately it will not come furnished, you would be required to buy your own furniture. But you may feel free to ask me for help when it comes to organizing furniture or its transportation.
In nur zwei Minuten kommt man zu Fuss zu seinem Gleis im Hauptbahnhof und von dort aus wiederum in 40 Minuten zum Frankfurter Haupbahnhof oder in 20 Minuten zum Flughafen. In drei Minuten kommt man zu Fuss zum Cityport und kann von dort aus mit Bus oder Strassenbahn in weniger als fünf Minuten zur Johannes-Gutenberg Universität fahren. Wir leben sehr zentral, sodass man schon nach wenigen Minuten gehen zu den besten Bars, schönsten Cafés, interessantesten Orten, verschiedenen Supermärkten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten kommt. Das Ufer des Rheins ist auch nur 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt.

You can get to any platform of the main train station in about two minutes. From there you are able to catch a train to the Airport and be there in about 20 minutes. In 40 minutes you can get to Frankfurt main station by train. The cityport bus and light railway station is as well in close walking distance. From there it takes you less than five minutes to get to Johannes-Gutenberg University. Needless to say that we are living very central in Mainz. Just walking for a few minutes brings you to the best bars, nice cafés, interesting locations, supermarkets and malls and so many other useful and interesting places. The synagogue is in close walking distance and in ten minutes you can even get to the river Rhein.
Für den Fall dass du bei mir einziehst, wirst du nur mich als deinen Mitbewohner haben. Die meiste Zeit des Tages werde ich wahrscheinlich an der Universität sein und werde auch oft verreisen müssen, was heisst dass du ab und zu die Wohnung für dich alleine haben wirst. Trotzdem bin ich ein sehr sozialer Mensch und mir ist ein gutes Verhältnis in der WG sehr wichtig und unternehme gerne etwas zusammen.

In case that you are moving in with me, you only got me as your flatmate. Most time of the day I might stay at the University and will also have to travel quite frequently, why you might have to place to yourself from time to time. Nevertheless I am a very social guy and care about good relations with my flatmate and love to go out together.
Zu der Wohnung gehören ausserdem eine kleine Küche mit Herd und einem Kühlschrank. Weiterhin ein Bad mit Dusche, einer Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner. Für die Geräte muss dem Vormieter, zur Übernahme von 50% der Besitzansprüche, eine Ablöse in Höhe von 100 Euro nach Unterzeichnung des Mietvertrags gezahlt werden. Wenn du Fragen hast, kannst du mich gerne kontaktieren. Solltest du interessiert sein, aber zum 01. Juli noch nicht einziehen können, kann man auch bis spätestens zum 01. August das Zimmer mieten

The apartment also consists of a small kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator. Furthermore a bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer. For both appliances you would have to pay a total of 100 euros for taking over 50% of the property claims. If you might have any questions, please feel free to contact me. In case you might be interested to move in, but can not do that until the 1st of July, you can still sign the contract until the 1st of August.
