Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr hell. Ich würde alle großen Möbel hier lassen, aber natürlich meine persönlichen Sachen raus schaffen. Ansonsten haben wir auch noch ein Keller-Abteil, falls du da etwas reinstellen möchtest. Über einzugs- und Auszugsdatum lässt sich reden
The room is quite spacious and has a lot of sun light. I would leave my big furniture in here but take out my personal belongings of course.
Wenn du neu in Mainz bist ist die Neustadt vermutlich der beste Ort um in der Stadt anzukommen. Im Sommer findet hier richtig viel Leben draußen statt, die Bars und Cafés sind voll (unter normalen Umständen) und man kommt super leicht mit Menschen ins Gespräch. Zum Rhein sind es 8 Minuten zu Fuß. Penny und Rewe sind gleich um die Ecke. Zum Hauptbahnhof 7 Min zu Fuß, die nächste ÖPNV-Haltestelle ist in einer guten Minute zu erreichen. Fahrrad in Mainz ist generell empfehlenswert :)
Neustadt is probably the best place to get started living in Mainz. There is a lot going on outdoors in the summer. It‘s easy to get to know people in bars and cafés. The river Rhine is within 8 mins walking distance. Supermarkets are around the corner, as well as bus/tram stop. Main station is 7 mins walking. It is also very bike friendly :)
Du wirst mit Lani (21 Jahre, Tänzerin aus Australien) und Simone (30 J., Geologie-Doktorant aus Italien) zusammenwohnen. Beide sind wahnsinnig entspannte Menschen, mit denen man wunderbar Zeit verbringen kann und beide viele coole Stories zu erzählen haben. Im Sommer unternehmen wir immer viel draußen, gehen Tischtennisspielen oder trinken einen Vino am Rhein. Da beide kein deutsch sprechen wären gute englische sprachkenntnisse recht wichtig
Your flat mates will be Lani (21y, dancer from Australia) and Simone (30y, Geology PhD from Italy). Both are super easy going and have a lot of cool stories to share. We like to do stuff together but everyone also leaves enough personal space for everyone else.
