Hello, I am Yu-Chia. I am helping myself and my landlord to find a suitable flatmate for the long term.
You will live in an old but creative and cozy two floors of apartment with a garden. You will share the bathroom and kitchen with the other 3 flatmates. There are two furnished room (11 m2 and 14 m2) will be free from June and July.
The landlord/roommate also post the advertisement, but I think it will be better to describe about who we are and to find the person more fit in. So that is why I also use my way to post an ad.
You can check the ad from my landlord as well here:

Mainz-Oberstadt (7 minutes walking to Volkspark/Volkpark bus station). It is near Netto, Rewe and Tagut supermarket by walking 8 minutes. There is a bank and a pharmacy near by as well.
I like this area very much. I always can quick running along the Rhein and it only take me 18 minutes cycling to Uni-Mainz.
The available room is on the first floor.
Who are your future flatmates:
Me: I am Yu-Chia Ku, a PhD student at Uni-Mainz. You can call me Yoga. That is my name in Taiwanese pronunciation. I am an outdoorsy person and very active in trying different things. I like to be in the mountains (Ha, it is a pity that it is pretty flat in Mainz for me), and I enjoy cycling, hiking, running, climbing, and bouldering. I go to the Alps when I miss the mountains from time to time. I also started snowboarding a few months ago. I speak English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. I do not speak much German. I just learned half a year since I do not need to use it for my work, I have very slow progress. I am quite busy I sleep late about 12:00 am and wake up early about 6:30 am for work. You should be aware of that before considering living with me as well.
Unfortunately, there is no active social life in WG now. However, I am looking forward to building up with you. Especially, doing some sports or cooking together will be more fun. If you have the same interests, I will be happy to do exercises or go to the mountains together sometimes. I mostly prefer vegetarian food, but I am not strict about my diet habits. I hope you like Taiwanese vegetarian food. In addition, if you fancy gardening, we can have a balcony garden project together besides PhD project. Spring is coming:)
Irene: She is the landlord and lives on the ground floor with her two dogs. The dogs are not allowed to go on the first floor. (We worked on building the dog gate before, so no worries, they will not go upstairs to bother you) Irene is open-minded to any discussion. She has lived in Turkey for more than 10 years in social work. She speaks German, Turkish, and English.
Basically, it is important to adapt to living with dogs. After the dogs know you a bit more, you will see the manner of the dogs improve little by little.
There is a cleaning plan every week as well. The area you are responsible for will only take about 30 minutes weekly. We remain clean after using the kitchen and bathroom.
Thanks for reading the message here. I need to be honest to say my landlord has no interest in young students below 25 and male candidates in general. Tell me more about you and it will be easy for me to convince my landlord even if you are not fit my landlord's ideal requirements as her tenant/roommate. Please put a "thumb" emoji after greeting and then I will know you notice that. Sorry that I could not reply to all of you.
In addition, if you can answer me how is your experience of WG life before, what is the most important thing in WG life for you and what is your favorite sport, I will try to be quick to reach out to you ;)
