Das Zimmer wurde erst im Januar letzten Jahres komplett neu-möbeliert (Tisch, Schränke, Bett). Das Zimmer hat ein Waschbecken und 3 Fenster. Das größte Fenster ist in Richtung Innenstadt.
Die WG ist Teil des Wohnheims Hafenstrasse des Studentenwerks Mannheim. Insgesamt wohnen vielleicht 200 Studenten in dem Wohnheim auf 5 Häuser verteilt. Dies trägt zu einer tollen Atmosphäre bei.
Das Wohnheim liegt im hippen Mannheimer Viertel Jungbusch, welches als DAS Kneipenviertel in Mannheim gilt. Per Bus ist man in 10min am Hauptbahnhof. Die Innendstadt und Universität können innerhalb von 5min mit dem Fahrrad erreicht werden.
Das WG-Leben kann so oder so, nach den Vorlieben der Bewohner gestaltet werden. Meine beiden Mitbewohner studieren beide an der Uni Mannheim und sind sehr umgänglich.
Im Wohnheim wohnen ausschließlich Studenten. Voraussetung für eine Zwischenmiete ist, das der Untermieter irgendwo als Student eingeschrieben ist.
Toll am Wohnheim Hafenstrasse ist, dass fast wöchentlich wohnheims-übergreifende Veranstaltungen im "Party-Keller" stattfinden.
