Hallo zusammen,
ich heiße Sophia, eine 24-jährige angehende Lehrerin aus Mannheim. Ich habe mein Studium gerade zu ende gebracht, möchte allerdings bevor ich mein Referendariat antrete, meine Oma in den USA besuchen, um unter anderem mein Englisch noch einmal etwas auf Vordermann zu bringen. Ich hoffe allerdings, ab Januar 2017 in erreichbarer Nähe Mannheims mein Referendariat antreten zu können. In den Monaten dazwischen, also dem Zeitraum von Anfang Januar 2017, auf Wunsch auch schon von Ende Dezember 2016 bis Ende Dezember 2017 , würde ich Dir mein Zimmer gerne zur Verfügung stellen; unter Umständen auch länger, je nachdem wie viel Erfolg ich mit der Vergabe der Referendariatsstelle habe ;)
Das Zimmer ist 14 m² groß und kostet warm 310€; die Gesamtmiete inklusiv Strom-und Internetkosten beläuft sich auf ca. 335 Euro monatlich.

my name is Sophia and I am a 24-year old teacher to be, who has just completed her course of studies at the University of Mannheim. Before I start my Referendariat however, I would like to visit my grandma in the US. This is why I would like to offer you my room in the time span from January 2017 (if you want the end of December 2016 would also be possible) to the end of December 2017 ; potentially longer depending on where I get sent for my teaching practice.
The room is about 14 square meters and costs 310 Euros including warm water. In total, after adding the cost for Internet and electricity it costs 335 Euros per month.
The apartment has an entirely equipped kitchen including a wash machine and even a little balcony.
Die WG ist komplett ausgestattet (inkl. kompletter Küche und Waschmaschine) und zudem ganz in der Nähe vom Bahnhof (5 Minuten) und Uni (15-20 Minuten in gemütlichem, 10-15 in schnellem Tempo). Zudem ist die Straßenbahnhaltestelle zur Linie 3 nur wenige Meter entfernt.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls direkt vor Ort (Penny, Edeka, Lidl...). Auch der Rhein ist zu Fuß in fünf Minuten zu erreichen und bietet die Möglichkeit, richtig schön spazieren und joggen zu gehen, oder sich bei Bedarf einfach mal zu entspannen. Das geht im Übrigen auch auf dem Minibalkon sehr gut, der auf Bepflanzung wartet und von dem man -unglaublich aber wahr- tatsächlich einen Blick ins Grüne hat;).
The location could not be better: The apartment is about five minutes from the central train station, and about 15-25 minutes from the Campus (depending on how fast you walk;)
Also, various supermarkets as well as the Rhine river are just around the corner. The Rhine is a great place to take a walk, jog or just relax and enjoy the sun.
Mein Mitbewohner ist super nett, aufgeschlossen und hat einen richtig guten Sinn für Humor aber auch ein offenes Ohr für Sorgen. Er ist ein wirklich interessierter, besonderer und herzlicher Mensch, den ich sehr vermissen werde.
My flat mate is super friendly, and has a great sense of humor as well as the ability to listen attentively. He is extremely kind and generous and I know already that I am going to miss him.
