Das Zimmer ist 20qm gross und hat zwei Fenster, die in den Innenhof blicken lassen.
Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig, vom Lärm der Strasse kriegt man nichts mit.
Die Terasse, die über die komplette Länge in Richtung der Straße verläuft, bietet genug Platz für entspanntes Zusammensitzen oder die ein oder andere Runde Bierpong.
Ansonsten ist so ziemlich alles vorhanden, was man braucht: Mikrowelle, Induktionsherd, Backofen, Terassenmöbel - Spül- und Waschmaschine bieten außerdem ein klein wenig studentischen Luxus.
Das Zimmer wird möbliert untervermietet. Falls du etwas jedoch nicht im Zimmer haben möchtest, gäbe es auch die Möglichkeit, einen Teil im Keller zu lagern.
Ich möchge nächstes Frühjahr ein Praktikum machen und das höchstwahrscheinlich auch nicht in Mannheim, weshalb das Zimmer sehr wahrscheinlich bis August 2024 gemietet werden könnte.

The room has 20qm with two windows facing the courtyard.
Despite the flat being in the middle of the city, you won‘t hear much noise coming from the streets. We also have a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and have a barbecue.
The flat includes everything you might need: an oven, dishwasher, washing machine, furniture for the terrace etc.
The room will remain furnished. If there‘s something you don‘t want to have inside the room we can try to story it in the basement as we have a small place there.
As I want to do an internship in another city next spring, the rolm could be rented until August 2024 if i get accepted.
Unsere WG ist mitten im Herzen Mannheims im Quadrat S1 gelegen.
Zu Fuß ist man in unter 3min an der Haltestelle „Marktplatz“. Außerdem liegen die Uni (10min zu Fuß), die Popakademie (15min) und die Einkaufspassagen (5min) in gehbaren Entfernungen. Zur Hochschule sind es mit der Bahn ca. 20min.
Falls du mal lieber das Rad nehmen möchtest, ist direkt um die Ecke eine VRN Nextbike Station, bei der Studenten der Uni Mannheim für 30min kostenlos ein Rad leihen können.
Rewe, Aldi und Lidl sowie weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

The flat is in the middle of the city, you only need 3min to the next station by foot, 10min to university and 5min to the malls. If you prefer taking the bike there‘s a nextbike station around the corner where students from the university can rent a bike without having to pay for the first 30min.
There are also different supermarkets around, the nearest would be Lidl (3min by foot).
Zu deinem Einzug wohnen noch Jannes (21) und Julius (25) mit in der WG. Jannes wird jedoch auch Ende Juli aufgrund eines Auslandssemesters ausziehen. Dadurch wird auch er sein Zimmer untervermieten. Julius bleibt jedoch in der WG und macht seinen Master an der Popakademie und freut sich auf ein entspanntes WG Leben mit dir. Ob eine kleine WG-Party, grillen auf der Terasse oder ein gemeinsames Bier, wer überhaupt keinen Bock auf seine Mitbewohner hat, ist bei uns eher falsch. Ansonsten reicht aber gegenseitige Sympathie und eine entspannte Art vollkommen aus.

When you move in, my flatmates Jannes (21) and Julius (25) will be living with you. Jannes is also doing a semester abroad and will move out by the end of Jule. Julius will stay here during your stay, he‘s getting his masters degree at the Popakademie. If you absolutely sitting together talking or having a small barbecue, you might not be right here but if you don‘t then that will be enough for you ti fit in here very well.
