Großes Zimmer in Quadrate zu vermieten.

In unserem urigen Studentenwohnheim, einem echten Altbau mitten in den Quadraten, wird ein großes möbliertes Zimmer frei. Und ehe du fragst: Nein, es ist kein Luxus-Suite! Aber genau das macht den Charme unseres Heims aus.

Ich habe 12 Monate hier gewohnt und gehe jetzt für längere Zeit in ein Meditationstempel ins Ausland, weshalb ich mein Zimmer hier leider aufgeben muss. Das Wohnheim hat viele internationale Studierende – also eine super Gelegenheit, Kulturen aus der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen! Aber keine Sorge, alle sprechen auch Englisch.

Das Zimmer kostet 440 € pro Monat, inklusive aller Nebenkosten wie Warmmiete, Internet, Strom und Rundfunkbeitrag. Es ist sehr hell, dank großer Fenster, die nach Süden ausgerichtet sind. Wenn du den Charme von Altbauten magst, wirst du dich hier wohlfühlen. Der Boden besteht aus einem gut erhaltenen, über 100 Jahre alten Fischgrätparkett, und die Küche hat einen Terrazzoboden.

Die Lage ist ideal: Mitten in den Mannheimer Quadraten, nur wenige Minuten entfernt vom Neckar, wo man grillen, entspannen oder joggen kann. Auch der Rhein, die Universität und die Duale Hochschule sind schnell erreichbar. Die nächste Haltestelle (Strohmarkt) ist nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, und von dort bist du schnell am Marktplatz oder Paradeplatz, von wo aus die Bahnen überall hin fahren. Geschäfte und Restaurants sind alle in maximal fünf Minuten zu erreichen. Drei Aldi, Lidl, mehrere Rewe, Penny, DM und zahlreiche Restaurants und Dönerläden sind ganz in der Nähe.

Räumlichkeiten:
Du teilst dir eine Küche und ein WC mit einem Mitbewohner. Duschen befinden sich als Gemeinschaftsduschen im Wohnheim, und für alle Wäschebedürfnisse gibt es eine Waschmaschine.

Das Beste an unserer WG? Ohne Frage die zentrale Lage! Aber wie bei allen Altbauten sollte man auch hier im Hinterkopf behalten, dass es eben ein Altbau ist – mit all seinen Ecken und Kanten.

Hello everyone!

A large furnished room is becoming available in our quaint student residence, a real old building in the middle of the squares. And before you ask: No, it's not a luxury suite! But that's exactly what makes our home so charming.

I lived here for 12 months and am now going abroad for a longer period of time to a meditation temple, which is why I unfortunately have to give up my room here. The dormitory has a lot of international students - so it's a great opportunity to get to know cultures from all over the world! But don't worry, everyone speaks English too.

The room costs €440 per month, including all utilities such as warm rent, internet, electricity and broadcasting fees. It's very bright thanks to the large south-facing windows. If you like the charm of old buildings, you will feel at home here. The floor is a well-preserved herringbone parquet that is over 100 years old, and the kitchen has a terrazzo floor.

The location is ideal: in the middle of Mannheim's squares, just a few minutes away from the Neckar, where you can barbecue, relax or go jogging. The Rhine, the university and the Cooperative State University are also within easy reach. The nearest tram stop (Strohmarkt) is just a two-minute walk away, and from there you can quickly reach Marktplatz or Paradeplatz, from where the streetcars go everywhere. Stores and restaurants can all be reached in five minutes or less. Three Aldi, Lidl, several Rewe, Penny, DM and numerous restaurants and kebab stores are close by.

Rooms:
You share a kitchen and a toilet with a roommate. There are communal showers in the hall of residence and a washing machine for all your laundry needs.

The best thing about our shared flat? Without question, the central location! But as with all old buildings, you should bear in mind that it's an old building - with all its rough edges.
