Since our current flatmate is moving end of April, we are looking for someone to take over his room from May onwards.
The brand new flat spans 110m² and is located on the ground floor. The common space is fully furnished, but the 18m² room comes unfurnished. Aside from this there are two bathrooms of which one can be yours, a shared rooftop, a huge private terrace including BBQ, a basement for storage, bicycle garage, and there’s also the option to rent a parking spot.
Location
Construction of the building has finished in early 2023 and is located centrally in the Werksviertel neighborhood by Ostbahnhof close to several hotspots of the city: at your doorstep there are a few rooftops that allow to take in the best views of the city and the proximity to the Isar means that you can easily refresh on hot summer days. Due to its location at the border of Giesing & Haidhausen you can quickly reach two of Munich’s most sought-after neighborhoods, though access to the U2, U5, U8, S-Bahn and the 59 bus means you get to anywhere in the city in no time. Restaurants, grocery stores and drug stores are also just 3 walking minutes away.
Flatshare Type
Your new flatmates would be Philip & Wouter. We’re both in our late twenties and working so we would prefer a person of similar age and stage. We both love to cook, so you can expect an occasional treat from time to time and like normal people we also like to go out to bars or do other activities together. We wouldn’t really be interested in having someone who is isolating, but rather someone who likes to also spend some time with the flatmates. We do have our own (social) lives but also value eating together, doing sports, or enjoying a beer during the sunset on the rooftop. We are mainly speaking English as Wouter’s is Dutch and is still learning German.
