The apartment is located on the 8th level of a 9-level block of flats and is sized 69 sqm. Besides the shared rooms (kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, cabin in cellar, shared room with other apartment on 8th floor), the apartment comprises 3 rooms, all reachable from the corridor. The whole apartment was fully reconstructed in 12/2020 (new electricity, new floor, walls plastered), including installment of a new, very modern kitchen and both a premium Miele washing machine and a Miele dryer in the bathroom. The kitchen comprises an oven, four cooking plates incl. a hood, a dish washer, a fridge/freezer combination, a microwave, and an eating corner (including a table and two bar stools). All rooms were newly furnished in 12/2020 with modern furniture. The cellar additionally comprises shared washing machines and dryers, areas to store bicycles, as well as a shared swimming pool including sauna.
The available room has 10 sqm and comes equipped with modern floors (installed in 12/2020), modern windows (installed in 2017/2018) and modern furniture (bed including mattress, wardrobe, desk, chair, lamps and painting). If wished, a tenant may separately rent an underground car parking.
The apartment in located in Munich-Neuaubing, only 400m/4 minutes away from the suburban train station Westkreuz where two lines are operating (S6, S8). Via suburban train, the city center (Marienplatz) can be reached in 15 minutes. The flat is ideally located for people working in the city center or at the “Stammstrecke” of the Munich suburban train system. The bus lines 57, 157 and N77 are also within walking distance of the flat.
The apartment block is surrounded by a park with grown-up trees. All daily shopping needs can be satisfied within walking distances (groceries, discounter groceries, drug store, bakery…) – a car is not necessary. One suburban train stop away lies the train station Munich-Pasing, Bavaria’s fourth largest train station. Next to it lies one of Munich’s largest shopping malls (Pasing Arcaden) comprising >100 shops and fulfilling most shopping needs.
We are a very international shared apartment of academics including a Ph.D. student in the life sciences from Romania and a software and optical lens engineer from India.
The total room rent includes ALL costs all-inclusive, i.e., the following: the rent, supplies (heating, water…), additional expenses, furniture, electricity, 200 Mbit internet via cable, and German TV/radio fee. Thus, there is no risk of late payments at the end of the year (as there are none – the all-inclusive rent is a flat fee). This room is ideally suited, e.g., for a Master/Ph.D. student, a young professional or a person having its second home in Munich for work purposes. The apartment was fully reconstructed end of 2020.
