WG rooms in beautiful old building WG-Zimmer im schönen Altbau

The apartment is located in the middle of the small and very quiet Giesinger Künstlereck, just a stone's throw away from "Klein-Venedig", the most beautiful spot in Untergiesing. From here everything is really important in walking distance: various supermarkets, drugstores and bakeries. Local, cafes and bars. Also around the corner are the recently announced Giesinger brewery, the much more popular "Ganswoanders" with daily live acts, Germany's first Mc Donalds (for the cravings emergency) and even a small patisserie. The Isar, the popular rose garden and an outdoor swimming pool can be reached in seven minutes. With the Radl, of course, it goes much faster!

Kolumbusplatz Underground Station is just a three-minute walk away with the best connection. Just one station to the Glockenbachviertel, one of the most popular Ausgehviertel in Munich with great bars, cafes and clubs. The next station (so still short distance) is already the center at Sendlinger Tor. To make it short: Everything is here felt in the immediate vicinity and yet you live very quietly in charming old building flair. Just the perfect mix!

Die Wohnung liegt mitten im kleinen und sehr ruhigen Giesinger Künstlereck, nur einen Steinwurf weit entfernt von "Klein-Venedig", dem schönsten Fleck in Untergiesing. Von hier aus ist wirklich alles Wichtige in Gehreichweite: Diverse Supermärkte, Drogerien und Bäckereien. Dazu Lokale, Cafés und Bars. Auch ums Eck sind die gerade ziemlich angesagte Giesinger Brauerei, das noch viel angesagtere "Ganswoanders" mit täglichen Live-Acts, Deutschlands allererster Mc Donalds (für den Heißhunger-Notfall) und sogar eine kleine Patisserie. Die Isar, der beliebte Rosengarten und ein Freibad erreichst du ganz gemütlich in sieben Gehminuten. Mit dem Radl geht's natürlich noch viel schneller!

Die U-Bahn-Station Kolumbusplatz ist nur drei Gehminuten entfernt mit bester Anbindung. Nur eine Station bis ins Glockenbachviertel, eines der beliebtesten Ausgehviertel Münchens mit tollen Bars, Cafés und Clubs. Die nächste Station (also noch Kurzstrecke) ist schon das Zentrum am Sendlinger Tor. Um es kurz zu machen: Alles ist hier gefühlt in direkter Nähe und trotzdem wohnt man sehr ruhig in charmantem Altbau-Flair. Einfach die perfekte Mischung!

Your future roommate is called Rabea (23), who has just moved into the smallest room. She originally comes from Freiburg, has studied physics in Konstanz for the last three years and now wants to live for her master (and also because of her friend) in Munich and experience the city a bit more intensively. Rabea is sympathetic, curious and feels at the rays all the time. She likes to be active, like cycling, jogging or just walking. In the WG, it places a great deal of emphasis on cleanliness, order and harmonious coexistence.

Now to me: I'm Ben (33) and work out from home office as a lifestyle editor for some well-known magazines. To balance – and because I love the gastro fan – I still help in a fancy café. I like to be on the go, often on press and influencer events or in cafes with friends or laptop, but also enjoy spending time at home. I love good coffee, good tea, good gin (Tonic) and of course also good food. For fitness, I prefer to go jogging at the Isar, but I want to try something new.

As far as the type of WG is concerned, everything has been done here. But it is now targeted for a roommate who wants a living WG life and who drives it from herself. From time to time, watch a movie, play board games, cook together, go for a walk, make sports, go out or meet a glass ore of wine and a sponge in the kitchen: With such things, you always run open doors with us.

Otherwise, it is important for us that the WG is a resting pole for everyone and we are mostly here for us. Overnight stays are a rare exception. You should also have your wild party and chaos phase behind you – or at least place great value not to live in the apartment. It just doesn't fit in here. Oh yes: Smoking and well-sounding singing under the shower are in the apartment absolute taboo

Deine zukünftige Mitbewohnerin heißt Rabea (23), die gerade erst in das kleinste Zimmer eingezogen ist. Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Freiburg, hat die letzten drei Jahre in Konstanz Physik studiert und will jetzt für ihren Master (und auch wegen ihrem Freund) in München wohnen und die Stadt mal etwas intensiver erleben. Rabea ist gesellig, neugierig und gefühlt die ganze Zeit nur am Strahlen. Sie ist gerne aktiv, mag Radfahren, Joggen oder einfach nur Spazierengehen. In der WG legt sie sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit, Ordnung und ein harmonisches Miteinander.

Jetzt zu mir: Ich heiße Ben (33) und arbeite aus dem Home-Office heraus als Lifestyle-Redakteur für einige bekannte Magazine. Zum Ausgleich – und weil ich das Gastro-Flair so liebe – helfe ich noch ab und zu in einem fancy Café aus. Ich bin gerne unterwegs, oft auf Presse- und Influencer-Events oder in Cafés mit Freunden oder dem Laptop zu finden, verbringe aber auch sehr gerne Zeit zu Hause. Ich liebe guten Kaffee, guten Tee, guten Gin (Tonic) und natürlich auch gutes Essen. Für die Fitness gehe ich am liebsten an der Isar joggen, will mich aber so langsam auch mal an was Neuem probieren.

Was die Art der WG angeht, hat es hier schon alles gegeben. Gesucht wird mittlerweile aber gezielt nach einer Mitbewohnerin, die sich ein lebendiges WG-Leben wünscht und das auch von sich aus antreibt. Ab und zu gemeinsam einen Film schauen, Brettspiele spielen, zusammen kochen, spazieren gehen, Sport machen, ausgehen oder auf ein Glaserl Wein und einen Schwatz in der Küche verabreden: Mit solchen Dingen rennst du bei uns eigentlich immer offene Türen ein.

Ansonsten ist uns wichtig, dass die WG ein Ruhepol für alle ist und wir hier überwiegend für uns sind. Übernachtungen sind bei uns eine seltene Ausnahme. Deine wilde Party- und Chaos-Phase solltest du am besten auch schon hinter dir haben – oder zumindest Wert drauf legen, sie nicht in der Wohnung auszuleben. Das passt hier einfach nicht rein. Ach ja: Rauchen und gut klingendes Singen unter der Dusche sind in der Wohnung absolutes Tabu! ;-)

Last but not least: order and cleanliness are really important to us in the apartment (!). You should be able to feel comfortable at any time. This means that nothing stands around in the shared areas and made dirt is also removed quickly. If this is just as natural for you as for us and you bring the necessary cleaning mold for it, then you have a very important foot in the WG door :-D

Last but not least: Ordnung und Sauberkeit sind uns in der Wohnung wirklich SEHR (!) wichtig. Man soll sich einfach jederzeit wohlfühlen können. Das heißt, nichts steht in den gemeinsam genutzten Bereichen herum und gemachter Dreck wird auch zügig wieder entfernt. Wenn das für dich genauso selbstverständlich ist wie für uns und du den nötigen Putzfimmel dafür mitbringst, dann hast du schon mal einen sehr wichtigen Fuß in der WG-Tür :-D
