hallo, wir sucen wieder 2 mitbewohner. es gibt ein platz frei in doppelzimmer (ab 1.juli) und ein single room frei (ab ende juli).

hier unten koennt ihr alle infos finden. danach schreib eine email (deutsch, italienisch oder english is ok) um viele photos von uns zu kriegen.

single or double room available on the 1st of june in a wonderful+kitsch+strange+mad+open-minded-+funny tandem flat

We are looking for 2 people for our large flat in the centre of Rome. The house is very big (180 square metres, 6th floor), sited in a very *STRATEGIC * area. 10 minutes walking from the uni “La Sapienza”, 10 min walking from “San Lorenzo” (one of the three main areas for night life, out going etc...), 2min walking from the national library, and, above all, 5min walking from Termini, the main train station in Rom, the only point where the two subway lines cross each other and where all buses, night buses, underground etc...converge. that’s very important in a city like Rome, where the connections are really very (very!) bad. So, if u come to rome without car and without vespa... that’s the right place to live! You can also reach the university Roma 3 in 10 min, with the subway. If in italy all road lead to rome, in rome all roads lead to Termini!

It doesn’t matter how long you are going to stay, but at least one month! Then you can leave at any time, you just have to tell it 4weeks in advance! Shorter periods are even better for us, as we like to change flatmates and know more people!

Pls when you write us don’t ask things that you can find here, otherwise we won’t answer...

Something about us:

There are 6 of us (but 2 are leaving) ad we have lots of fun!! There is a big entrance, 2 corridors and a very large living room, the most important room of the flat, as we spend most of the time there... Sometimes we eat there together, but you don’t have to, if u don’t want. Anyway, there is always someone and when you come back home you always find someone to speak with. It’s very nice and we’ll have lots of fun!! We also organise mega parties from time to time.

I’m from Rome, 26yo, i’ve studied literature, then i spent one year in the best city of europe, BERLIN, working in the international literatur festival- and now i’m studying again.Paolo is 25yo and studies mathematics (he is the perfect flatmate and....his “risotto ai carciofi” is the best i’ve ever eaten!!). he is italian but he grew up in buenos aires. ILLE is a german guy, 30 yo, architect (i love his humour, it’s very cynical).... his publicity of some cakes it’s very funny, you can see that he studied theater for years!!!when he drinks he is another person...and fun is for sure! (2weeks ago after a wonderful dinner inside the circo massimo at 5 am we went to Trevi Fountain and he decided to have a bath in the most ancient fountain of rome... like anita ekberg in fellini's movie "la dolce vita")that's quite normal here...
Juan... is a spanish guy, 25yo,from madrid, (erasmus in Roma3,)but he attended an italian school,so he is almost bilingual. Juan is the last who moved in but he settled down perfectly and i really hope he will find a job in rom (once the erasmus is over) so that he’ll stay in rome for the rest of his life (vero,juan che non ci abbandoni???....) Miranda is an english girl,always travelling around the world... she very sunny and loves meeting people from different countries.jessica a french girl who just moved here.

More infos: there is a terrace ad we have also access to the big terrace of the buildings, one floor upon us! We have fastweb for the internet connection (10Mbs!! Much better than dsl) wireless, a telephone flat, digital tv with videostation, the possibility to see the movie you want at any time with fastweb and many other options. We often downloadmovies and watch them together.

If u want to come to Rom, to learn italian, to meet new people and to have fun (lots of fun!!!!!!!), write me an email! If u think that the price is too expensive and you just want to do a tandem, to meet new people in a party or just to drink a coffee (or tea!!! u c, I’m quite international!!) come anyway to visit us! We still have contacts with people who came to see the ther rooms without renting them and some of them still come from time to time to visit us or to our big and famous parties!

PRICE etc...

1)The price for the “posto letto”in miranda’s room is 300 euros/month (per person in double room). Some bills are included (condominio ecc) other bills excluded (gas,electricity, telephone). There is also a deposit which you’ll get back the day you leave..

2)The single room, costs 480 euros per month. There is everything: bed,.cupboard, desk,chair etc...same condition for bills etc

the place in double room will be available the 1st of july.
the single room towards the end of july (maximum 1st of august)

TANDEM FLAT

Our flat is international... as you can see.. we like this kind of convergence of different cultures. There is always something to learn and laugh about. but we like it also beacuse we have the opportunity to speak many languages, and to improve them all. You also find the stimulus to learn a new language if you want (for ex, i began to study spanish, paolo began to study german, daphne spanish...etc..). basically we speak italian and english if we are all together, but then you could also choose to speak another language when you are alone with someone from another country (it’s up to you). anyway we spend so much time together that even if you speak 50%english and 50%italian you ‘ll imprve your italian much more than in a flat where all students speak italian but live the whole time alone in their rooms... anyway at the beginning it was like this, then we became a bit lazy and before christmas we ended up speaking almost just italian, but we want to change again this habit... so if you don’t agree with the idea of the tandem flat don’t write us at all. If you think you can reply me ALWAYS in italian when, for ex, i ask you something in english....

After so many words... write us to get photos... they can tell you more than i did!

1) WRITE AN EMAIL, SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT YOU (PLS NOT JUST A FEW LINES AS SOME OF YOU DID.. WE GET CONFUSED!...It’s difficult to remember who wrote,what, what he wanted erc... for the same reason i ask you not to delate the previous lines you wrote when you reply....),

2)PICTURES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME, AT LEAST WE’LL associate a face to an email (we usually get too many emails)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WRITE HOW LONG YOU WANT TO STAY. as i told you, it's not important how much (from 1 to 7months or even more) but i NEED TO KNOW IT IN ADVANCE in order to to combine with other people who'll come after you. if you don't know it yet, pls tell me at least how long is FOR SURE!
