Du suchst ein Zimmer? Wir suchen eine*n Mitbewohner*in! :-)
Das Zimmer ist durch sein großes zentrales Fenster, das fast bis zum Boden geht, sehr hell & lichtdurchflutet. Was man auf den Bildern leider nicht sieht, da die Vorhänge zugezogen sind, ist der wunderschöne Ausblick über die Rostocker Altstadt, man sieht sogar die sieben Zinnen des Rathauses (nice!). Wir haben leider keinen fancy alten Dielenboden, aber das Parkett ist trotzdem sehr hübsch & sieht zumindest dielen-mäßig aus.
Der Grundriss des Zimmers ist nicht einfach nur viereckig (wäre ja schließlich auch zu langweilig!) sondern hat so eine kleine Einbuchtung, was das Einrichten & Dekorieren etwas spannender macht, hehe.
Nicht zum Zimmer, aber zur Wohnung gehören unsere ZWEI Badezimmer. Beide ausgestattet mit Dusche bzw. Badewanne, Toilette, Waschbecken und Ablageflächen. Außerdem gibt's natürlich 'ne Küche mit Balkon-Zugang, wo mindestens immer eine*r kulinarisch zugange ist!

You're looking for a room? well, we're looking for a roommate!
the room is, because of its large and central window, always flooded with light. the view out of the window is also very pretty, unfortunately it's not visible on the pictures due to the closed curtains: normally you'd directly get a nice look on the old town of Rostock. Unfortunately we don't have fancy old floorboards, but the parquet flooring does its job perfectly as well. The layout of the room is not just square (that'd be boring, right?) but has a slight indentation which will make decorating your own space far more exciting, hehe.
In the flat, there are not only one but two bathrooms. Both equipped with a cabin shower/bathtub, a toilet, a sink and storage areas. Of course there's also a kitchen with access to our balcony, where we all get culinarily creative!
Ob unsere WG in der Stadtmitte (laut Postleitzahl) oder in der östlichen Altstadt (Kartenansicht) liegt, wird ein ewiges Mysterium bleiben. Die Tram-Station "Neuer Markt" oder Steintor liegen vier Minuten im Ich-muss-noch-schnell-die-Bahn-erwischen-Schritt entfernt. Von da aus geht’s mit der 6 sowohl schnell zum Südstadt-Campus, als auch zum Ulmencampus (in die andere Richtung). Der Campus Innenstadt bzw. das Hauptgebäude, und somit auch die Kröpeliner Straße, sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Auch der Bebel-Tower lässt sich einfach zu Fuß bzw. mit dem Fahrrad erreichen. Wer zur HMT muss, hat es noch leichter, die ist nur eine (etwas längere) Straße runter.
Edeka ist in 3 Richtungen leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Jeweils mit unterschiedlichen Geschäften (Rossmann, Lidl, Penny, alles-was-die-Kröpi-zu-bieten-hat) kombinierbar.
Der Stadthafen ist auch nicht weit.

Which part of Rostock our shared flat is exactly located in, whether it's "Stadtmitte" or rather "Östliche Altstadt", will always remain a mystery. We honestly don't know. The closest tram-stations are "Steintor" or "Neuer Markt" and they're pretty much both just four minutes away if you walk quickly. From there, you can get to any place in Rostock you'd like: the "Südstadt-Campus", "Ulmencampus" or even the Baltic Sea. The other university buildings are just a 5-10 minute walk away, just like the main shopping street called "Kröpeliner-Straße". All grocery shops you might need are within walking distance, just like any pharmacy or drug store. Trust us (we've all been living in Rostock for quite a while now!) it's a green and calm neighborhood in a prime location - even with the city harbor being pretty close.
Wir, das sind Anne, Yonni und Anna-Lena
Yonni schreibt an den nächsten Bestsellern im Sci-Fi-Bereich, studiert passend dazu Germanistik (und Medienwissenschaften) und probiert, jeden Dienstag im St. Freibier abzustauben.
Hanna studiert ebenfalls Medien aber mit Anglistik im Hauptfach, veranstaltet ab und zu in ihrem Zimmer Sing-Offs und schaut Netflix gerne bei offener Tür (damit auch alle mithören können, was Ross, Chandler, Rachel, Joey, Monica und Phoebe so treiben).
Leon steckt gerade in seiner Ausbildung zum Biologie-Laboranten, ist wie wir alle häufig im JAZ anzutreffen und skatet gern.
Wir gehen gerne mal gemeinsam feiern (JAZ, Helgas, Kraftwerk) und besprechen gerne in der Küche wie der Tag uns mal wieder an den Rand der Verzweiflung gebracht hat. Bei Problemen heißt es einfach: ansprechen, dann finden wir ne Lösung.

who are we? we're Yonni, (Jo)Hanna and Leon:
Yonni is currently working on his next bestseller in the Sci-Fi-Genre and is majoring in German studies (his minor is media & communication). On Tuesdays he's always trying to get a free pint of beer at a club called "ST".
Hanna is also studying media & communication but is majoring in English studies. At home she's either found singing to bubbly pop songs or watching netflix with her door open, so we all get to hear what Ross, Chandler, Rachel, Joey, Monica and Phoebe are currently up to.
Leon is training to be a Biology lab assistant, can be found at JAZ (a techno club) just like the rest of us, and likes skating.
We love going clubbing together (come and find us at JAZ, Helgas or Kraftwerk) but almost every evening we sit down in our kitchen and talk about how life is stressing us out and causing way tooo much trouble. If any problems occur, we all agree on one thing: communication is key. let's talk about it first and then find a solution.
Unsere Mitbewohnerin Anne macht sich ab Ende August auf, um in Lyon etwas französische Luft zu schnuppern. Voraussichtlich wird sie im Februar 2020 wiederkehren und ihr altes Zimmer wieder in Beschlag nehmen wollen - wäre also nice, wenn die Möbel so lange drin bleiben könnten (wir sind mal ganz optimistisch & gehen davon aus, dass euer Ästhetik-Verständnis nicht allzu sehr voneinander abweicht).
Wenn du dir vorstellen könntest, mit uns zusammen zu wohnen, lass uns gern eine liebe Nachricht da. Wir könnten dann einen Termin ausmachen & uns bei einem Tee kennenlernen :-)

At the end of august our roomie Anne will go on her little adventure of studying in Lyon for a semester. She's likely to return in February 2020 to move back into her old room - that's why it'd be nice if her furniture could remain in her room (we're very optimistic and expect both your aesthetic perceptions are not all too different!)
