Finnish uni student looking for a room during internship

Hallo!

Ich heisse Jenni und ich komme aus Finnland. Ich bin 25 Jahre alt. Unfortunately that's about as much as I know Deutsch. I'm a fourth-year (7th semester) student studying aquatic sciences (=fish biology & freshwater ecology) at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. As a part of my Bachelor's degree I am doing an internship and I was accepted to intern at University of Rostock, Agrar- und Umweltwissenschaftliche Fakultät, during spring semester 2017. That means I am going to be in Rostock from February 1st until April 30th, 3 months in total. I am looking for an apartment for that time period.

I am currently the chair of board of my home university's fishing club, as I love fishing and organizing things. Other things I enjoy during my spare time are hanging out with my friends, drinking coffee (love love LOVE coffee), paper crafts, baking and zumba. I also like scuba diving, I got my OWD in 2010 but only this year I got certified to dive with a dry suit so I can dive in cold waters as well, which is really exciting. I love to travel as well, for now I have visited every other continent on Earth besides Antarctica (which I will visit one day!). I have studied in the US, and I have worked in New Zealand before my university studies.

I have lived with roommates before, both in Finland as well as in Alaska, USA, where I studied marine biology during autumn semester 2015. My previous roommates have called me tidy, neat and study-oriented but also someone who is easy to get along with. Instead of seeing my flatmates as just people I happen to share the apartment with I like to be proper friends with them. I did study German for a couple of years back in comprehensive school, so maybe I'll remember a thing or two after being surrounded by Germans for a while, but mainly I'd be able to communicate with you in English (unless you happen to know Finnish).

I would prefer a furnished room, so I wouldn't have to buy a bed and wardrobe and all that for just a couple of months, but it's not necessary. If you'd like to know more about me, send me a message!
