14qm Zimmer in 3er WG, schöne Altbauwohnung in Bad-Cannstatt (keine Zwischenmiete!)

Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen Wohngegend mitten in Bad Cannstatt, Stadtteil Seelberg.

In der Umgebung finden sich fußläufig diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (u.a. Rewe, Kaufland, Lidl, Aldi, Müller) und alles was man sonst so braucht. 3x die Woche gibt es einen großen Wochenmarkt in der Altstadt und da der Stadtteil sehr von seiner Internationalität lebt, gibt es auch viele internationale Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten (südasiatisch, griechisch, bulgarisch, türkisch, arabisch, uvm).

Besonders schön finden wir an Bad-Cannstatt die Altstadt, den Kurpark und Neckar und die verschiedenen Mineralbäder.
Man ist auch schnell im Stuttgarter-Osten, wo es z.B. die Parkanlage Villa Berg gibt (und das Restaurant Buschpilot, einer unserer Lieblingsplätze im Sommer) oder mit dem Fahrrad in die Weinberge nach Untertürkheim zum Rotenberg, von wo man eine herrliche Aussicht über Stuttgart hat.

Bad-Cannstatt scheint erstmal ziemlich weit außerhalb den Zentrums zu liegen, allerdings ist die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel super: Die U-Bahn (Haltestelle: Uff-Kirchhof U13 und U1) ist zu Fuß in 3 Minuten zu erreichen, die S-Bahn (Haltestelle: Bad-Cannstatt) in ca. 10 Minuten. Mit der Bahn bist du innerhalb kürzester Zeit in der Stuttgarter Innenstadt oder in Stuttgart-West, auch zum Flughafen und nach Esslingen gibt es direkte Verbindungen.
Man kann auch sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad durch den Schlossgarten in die Innenstadt fahren.

The flat is located in a very nice residential area in the middle of Bad Canstatt, district Seelberg.

There are various shopping facilities within walking distance (including Rewe, Kaufland, Lidl, Aldi, Müller) and everything else you need. There is a large farmers market in the old town three times a week and since the district is very international, there are also many international shopping and dining options (Swabian, South Asian, Greek, Bulgarian, Turkish, Arabic, etc.).

What we particularly like about Bad-Cannstatt is the old town, the close park (Kurpark), the Neckar river and the various mineral baths.
It's also easy to get to the east of Stuttgart, where there's the Villa Berg park (and the Buschpilot restaurant, one of our favourite places in summer) or to cycle to the vineyards in Untertürkheim to the Rotenberg, from where you have a wonderful view over Stuttgart.

Bad-Cannstatt seems to be quite far from the city centre, but the public transport connections are excellent: the underground (stop: Uff-Kirchhof U13 and U1) can be reached on foot in 3 minutes, the S-Bahn (stop: Bad-Cannstatt) in about 10 minutes. By train, you can reach Stuttgart city centre or Stuttgart-West within a very short time, and there are also direct connections to the airport and Esslingen.
It is also very easy to cycle through the Schlossgarten to the city centre.

Wir sind beide Ur-Stuttgarter:innen und haben daher viele Tipps für Zugezogene parat. Wir sind beide vor über zwei Jahren in die WG eingezogen (Neugründung) und fühlen uns in Stuttgart, in Bad Cannstatt, in der Wohnung und zusammen sehr wohl. Wir haben bisher beide hauptsächlich in WGs gelebt und haben diese Wohnsituation auch bewusst gewählt.
Wir sind beide seit einigen Jahren berufstätig, haben unsere Lieblingsorte in Stuttgart und entdecken gerne Neues in und um Stuttgart herum. Zuhause genießen wir es im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer und am Küchentisch zusammenzusitzen, lecker zu kochen und zu essen, respektieren aber den Freiraum der anderen und machen gern auch unser eigenes Ding.
Uns sind Offenheit, Respekt, Sauberkeit und Freude an den kleinen und großen Dingen im Leben wichtig.

We are both born and bred in Stuttgart and therefore have a lot of tips for Stuttgart newcomers. We both moved into the WG over two years ago and feel very comfortable in Stuttgart, in Bad Cannstatt, living in this flat and together. We have both mainly lived in shared flats so far and have also consciously chosen this living set-up.
We have both been working for a few years, have our favourite places in Stuttgart and enjoy discovering new things in and around Stuttgart. At home, we enjoy sitting together in the cosy living room and at the kitchen table, cooking and eating delicious food, similarly respecting each other's space and me-time and like to do our own thing.
Openness, respect, cleanliness and enjoying the small and big things in life are important to us and our WG life.

Noch Etwas zu uns / Some words about us:
Anjuli lebt seit 6 Jahren in ihrem Lieblingsstadtteil Bad-Cannstatt. Im September 2023 schließt sie ihren zweiten Master in Südasienwissenschaften an der Universität Heidelberg ab. Außerdem arbeitet sie 20h die Woche, ist ausgebildete Yogalehrerin mit traumasensibler Weiterbildung, ehrenamtliche Sterbebegleiterin, politisch aktiv und leitet eine kreative Schreibwerkstatt. Sie liebt es auf Märkten einzukaufen, zu kochen, tiefgründige Gespräche von Leben bis Tod zu führen, 20 Bücher gleichzeitig zu lesen, (in den Bergen) zu wandern, und immer wieder den eigenen Horizont und den von anderen zu erweitern.

Anjuli has been living in her favourite district Bad-Cannstatt for 6 years. In September 2023, she will complete her second Master's degree in South Asian Studies at the University of Heidelberg. She works 20 hours a week, is a trained yoga teacher with trauma-sensitive training, a volunteer hospice care taker, politically active and runs a creative writing workshop. She loves roaming through markets, cooking, having deep conversations from life to death, reading 20 books at a time, hiking (in the mountains), and always expanding her own horizons and those of others.

Anna war u.a. für das Studium 8 Jahre in Leipzig und ist nun seit 2.5 Jahren wieder zurück in der Heimat. Sie arbeitet als Ärztin in einer Klinik. Ansonsten macht sie sehr gerne Yoga, geht gerne zu Kulturveranstaltungen (Ballett, Theater, etc.), bummelt über Flohmärkte, liebt alles um‘s Essen und versucht sich neuerdings im Kitesurfen.

Anna spent 8 years in Leipzig for her studies and has now been back home for 2.5 years. She works as a doctor in a clinic. Apart from that, she enjoys doing yoga, going to cultural events (ballet, theatre, etc.), strolling through flea markets, loves everything to do with food and has recently been trying her hand at kitesurfing.
