The room is spacious with high ceilings and nice natural light. The room includes a bed, a large desk and chair, wardrobe, and book shelf. The bedding can also be included if you let me know by 23.12. The room is equipped for high speed WLAN/Wifi and is only 8 Euro per month if you register with the building service. The room is heated with a radiator and stays warm in the winter months.
The kitchen is shared with just 5 others (there are 2 on the floor), and each room has their own designated cabinet. There are two single-occupancy bathrooms and a shower room with 3 private stalls for women. The men have a bathroom with private stalls and a separate room with private stall showers. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. There is also bike storage in the basement and behind a locked gate in the back.
Perfect for a student!
The location is ideal with a bus stop right outside the front door, the U14 only a 3 minute walk away, and several other U-Bahn connections just around the corner. The S-bahn is only a 12 minute walk away through Bad Canstatt.The building is also well connected to bike lanes. It only takes about 20 minutes by transit or bike to reach the city center.
Other nice amenities nearby is the Bad Canstatt old town, great for shopping or leisure, the Wilhelma (zoo), the Mineral Bader, and a lovely large park and museum.
The WG culture is very warm. There are 2 kitchens, so the kitchen never feels overcrowded. Everyone on the floor is very kind and we sometimes socialize in the kitchen at the large dining table. The bathrooms and showers are also ample, so you never have to wait to use one. Everyone keeps the space clean, and the space is professionally cleaned once per week.
The floor is international, so we sometimes make meals from our home countries for each other. Roommates are always willing to share kitchen items and staple foods too if you just ask!
If you prefer to keep to yourself, you have your own spacious room with a lock. The rooms have nice sound protection so you don't hear neighbors while in your room.
