Hi everyone! I'm looking for a Nachmieter:in to take over my room (Zimmer 3 on the floor plan) here on Taubenheimstraße.
The room is fully furnished (desk, chair, bed, bedside table), has a spacious built-in closet and a separate storage compartment (note the little door next to the radiator). The two southwest-facing windows create lots of natural light, and provide a pleasing view of the eastern part of the city.
The bathroom is quite large and recently renovated; it features a full-sized bathtub, a big vanity, and a washing machine.
The kitchen is small but fully serviceable, with a 4-plate electric cooktop (w/ exhaust hood), an oven, fridge/freezer combination, and a microwave.
Access to the basement is also included, should you require more storage, or somewhere to put away a bike, for example.
Transportation:
U-Bahn: Kienbachstraße (U13) is 5-7 minutes away on foot, from there you can get to e.g. Bosch's Feuerbach campus in ca. 20 minutes. Alternatively, one can walk to Uff-Kirchhof (ca. 10 min) for the U1 or U16.
S-Bahn: the Bad Cannstatt station is about 15 minutes away on foot, or 5 minutes if you have a bike. Took me about 30 minutes door-to-door to get to Uni Stuttgart's Vaihingen campus, 20 for the Mitte campus (faster with a bike, but I prefer to walk).
Shops (all distances on foot):
1–2 minutes to ALDI (with a Packstation for your online shopping)
10 minutes to Canstatter Carré (Kaufland, Lidl, Müller, Intersport, Gesundhaus-Apotheke usw.)
12 minutes to toom
Other infrastructure:
12 minutes to Sportbad Neckarpark (the only decent swimming pool in Stuttgart, for the swimmers out there)
20 minutes to SoleBad and Kurpark (with great views of the city)
18 minutes to Hans-Martin-Schleyer Halle/Porsche Arena/Mercedes-Benz Arena (if live music is your thing)
16 minutes to Cannstatter Wasen (now that COVID is over, they're doing the Volksfeste again!)
20 minutes to the Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant and the museum
The two other occupants, Irina and Christian, are students at Uni Stuttgart; nice, considerate, keep to themselves most of the time. There's no formal cleaning schedule; mostly people just clean up after themselves. The apartment is not very large, so it works out. In other words: no one is going to hound you over housework if you're busy during the exam period :)
The building is serviced by a cleaning company, so there's no Kehrwoche either.
The landlord is looking for a student, intern (Praktikant:in) or recent graduate. Please note that the minimum lease duration is 12 months. The lease can start as soon as you like, as I've already moved out. Please indicate your intended move-in date when responding to this ad.
Unfortunately, no pets can be accommodated.
Damit auch internationale Studierende, die Deutsch nicht so gut verstehen, diese Anzeige lesen können, ist sie auf Englisch verfasst. Sie können sich aber natürlich auch auf Deutsch melden.
По-русски я тоже говорю, так что не стесняйтесь писать и на русском. Лэндлорд, кстати, тоже говорит по-русски, поэтому за языковой барьер можете не переживать.
