This lovely and very bright room has two stories. Using a ladder you can climb onto a platform for storage/sleeping/ a nice corner for reading or watching a movie.
The room is partly furnished with a desk, chair, wardrobe, mattress and slatted frame. You can also get a planner and pillow.
On the east side there is a shared balcony you have access to through two very large windows.
Dieses sehr helle Zimmer ist zweigeteilt in einen unteren Raum und eine Plattform in etwa 2m Höhe in der Dachschräge, die man mit einer Leiter erreicht. Dort passt ein 1,2m breites Bett hin oder man richtet sich diesen Teil des Zimmers als Lese-/Filme-Ecke ein.
Der Raum ist mit Tisch, Stuhl, Einbauschrank, Matratze und Lattenrist teilmöbliert. Man kann aber sicher Abnehmer für einige Sachen finden, die man nicht gebrauchen kann.
Es gibt an der Ostseite einen Balkon, den man mit dem Zimmernachbar teilt.
The house is in Lustnau, the northern part of Tübingen and very close to the sport institute of the Tuebingen University. There isn’t a lot of car traffic so it’s fairly quiet around the place.
There are three bus stops 5min walking distance (lines 1, 7, 22 to the main station) as well as a REWE supermarket, butcher, post office (DHL retoure!), a Bank, paper shop, bike shop and a drugstore. Do you get everything you need.
It takes about 15min to the main station or the Altstadt (City Center) by bike.
Really the best part of our spot is that you walk out the door, around the house and in two minutes your at the Schoenbuch forest. Hallo nature!
Wir wohnen im ländlichen Lustnau, im Nord-Osten (?) von Tübingen.
Unser Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit wenig Verkehr.
Zu Fuß erreicht man in 5min drei Bushaltestellen, die im 15min-Takt unter der Woche zur Wilhelmstraße, Bahnhof und Altstadt fahren (Linien 1, 7, 22), und eine Haltestelle für den Flughafen-Sprinter (828). Mit dem Fahrrad braucht man 10-15min zur Altstadt und 15min zu Bahnhof. Parken kann man vor der Haustür.
In nächster Umgebung haben wir zwei Postannahmestellen, Volksbank und Sparkasse, sowie einen REWE-Supermarkt, zwei Bäcker, zwei Apotheken und ein Schreibwarengeschäft. Zu Fuß ist man in 5-7min dort, mit dem Fahrrad in 2-3min.

Außerdem ist der Schönbuch-Wald quasi vor der Haustür zum Spazierengehen und Fahrradfahren.
As everyone is either already fully employed or a PhD student we are mainly searching for people who fit this profile. As we are still in Corona-mode some will be in home office.
We have started a shared dinner once a week since the first lockdown which is one of my favorite evbbenings since we like try out very different and international dishes. BBQ is also high on the hitlist because we have a nice BBQ-spot in the garden. The flatmates do a lot of different sports as hobbies (classic workout, boxing workout, bouldering, cycling, yoga, Zumba fitness, ballet) which can be shared.
We also share a few kitchen supplies like oil, vinegar, salt, sugar etc. and cleaning supplies. With internet and GEZ and so on this makes an extra 15-20€ per month. But if you buy toilet paper every week you end up at zero at the end if each month.
We do have a cleaning timetable that changes weekly. Every team has 3-4 members that share cleaning the common spaces and a second round of teams for bathrooms. We share 4 bathrooms in total. ;)
Unsere Mitbewohner sind Berufstätige und Doktoranden. Mit Corona sind einige im Home Office gelandet, aber normalerweise gehen die Meisten tagsüber zur Arbeitsstelle
Einige Produkte kaufen wir gemeinsam ein, wie Putzmittel, Schwämme etc., Internet und Müll und Essig, Öl, Salz, Brot (vom Vortagsbäcker). Die Kosten teilen wir monatlich, was etwa einer Belastung von 15 EUR pro Person entspricht, wenn du nichts einkaufst.
Wir haben einen Putzplan mit Teams für die Bäder und den gemeinsamen Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss mit wöchentlichem Wechsel.
Wir treffen uns normalerweise am Donnerstag Abend zum WG-Essen, bei dem jeder kommen kann, der gerade Zeit und Lust hat.
Am Wochenende machen wir öfters Barbecue im Garten an unserer Grillstelle, wenn das Wetter schön ist. Bei uns kochen die meisten gerne, wie man sieht. ; )
Every member of the WG can life at their own pace. If you want to have a talk or cook together you need only ask. If you want to be left alone you can just go up to your room. As we are quite a bunch of people we need to be a bit more considerate for the others then most.
Internationals are very welcome!
Since there are already some internationals at the WG we speak a lot of English.

Jeder in der WG kann nach seinem eigenen Rythmus leben. Wenn du mit jemand reden oder kochen willst, brauchst du nur zu fragen. Wenn du deine Ruhe haben willst, kanns du dich in dein Zimmer zurückziehen. Weil wir eine große Gruppe Mitbewohner/innen sind müssen wir ein bisschen öfter Rücksicht auf andere nehmen als in kleineren WGs.
