The room is 16sqm and has its own sink. Two large windows provide enough light. A bathroom with shower and toilet is shared with two other students. The kitchen is shared with up to seven other students (currently four).
The room is unfurnished except for a large closet, two chairs and a table. These can be removed if necessary.
The dormitory has two common kitchens and a common room as well as a garden with a terrace. A laundry room with coin-operated washing machines is also available. A large common room with piano and sofa corners invites you to linger.
There is in-house WLAN for 10 to 20 euros.
Hirschau is located at the Spitzberg. Already in a few minutes you are in the nature and can explore vineyards, the Neckar or the Wurmlinger Chapel. Close to the village is the Hirschauer Baggersee. Here you can swim or enjoy nature.
By bus, you can reach Tübingen's main train station in eight minutes. By bike it takes about twenty minutes. Right outside the front door, the bus runs every 15 minutes at peak times, otherwise usually every 30 minutes, and hourly on weekends. Night buses run from Tübingen to Hirschau until three in the morning.
Less than two minutes away are also a bakery/café, another bakery, a butcher, a hairdresser, and a flower and vegetable/fruit store. There is also a pharmacy, stationery store and post office in the village.
There is also an Italian restaurant and a kebab store directly in front of the house.
A car parking space can be rented. Covered bicycle parking spaces are available outside. A space in the bicycle cellar can be rented.
We see ourselves as a large shared apartment and place a lot of value on community. We cook together and organize movie nights. Sometimes there are smaller events or barbecues. There is no obligation to participate in communal activities, due to the number of people you can also withdraw confidently.
The shared bathroom and kitchen are kept clean by the students. There are cleaning duties for this purpose.
We are a diverse and open flat-sharing community with students, trainees and also internationals from time to time. Over the years, I have made many contacts here and recommend the WG mainly because of the diversity and the experiences.
A personal inspection is possible in compliance with hygiene regulations.
The beer crate bed can be taken over with pleasure without mattress free of charge. Dimensions: 200x140
