Brightly lit room with a closet and sink inside the room within a friendly, communal student dorm for sublet for two months. You just have to move in with your clothes. There is a bed, table, chair, side table, bedside cabinet, personal vacuum cleaner, beautiful Persian rug etc. in short, all the amenities you need in a room. The dorm is not luxurious, it is in an old building, but I have made my room quite cosy and it is my safe space. The rent includes heating, electricity, and Wifi. There are no additional costs.
Located close to the city center. The main library is a 5 mins walk away and Rewe is just next door (2 mins walking). Old city and Hauptbahnhof are 15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by bus. There are several bus stops within walking distance for excellent connection to anywhere in the city. There is a huge cellar for storing your bike and also our own car parking area in front of the dorm.
The kitchen is shared with well-stocked utensils and all appliances needed for cooking. You will get to use all my spices from my spice cabinet for free so that is a bonus :) (I have practically all spices under the sun) just be mindful to replace whatever is over and you're good. It is a pretty international community of young students who are very friendly. We like to spend time sometimes eating together or watching something in the clubroom or doing some fun activity but you can choose to stay aloof and not participate if you don't wish to. There is also a table tennis room with a TT table, foosball table, a collection of several board games, and books. The dorm is self-managed and smoking is not allowed inside the dorm premises but you can smoke outside in the backyard.
You can write to me via the website and we can arrange either an online viewing or in-person meeting if you are in town. I am looking for someone who is clean and responsible and can get along with people in a communal setting. Only requirements are that you use the stuff in the room respectfully and don't damage anything. You will get ample space in the closet and bedside cabinet to store your stuff but my things will also be there since I return after 2 months so you are requested to respect my privacy.
