This is the largest room in the apartment, with 3 large windows, and direct access to a large rooftop terrace. The room will be unfurnished but the apartment is fully furnished. There are two bathrooms, you will be sharing one of the bathrooms with 1 other flatmate. The room is away from the street making it immune from street noise.

The apartment is located right next to Kaufland (1 minute walk) as well as two other grocery stores (Aldi, 2 minutes and E-Center 10 minutes). There are multiple bus stops within a 4 minute walking distance. The Neckarbrücke (city center) is a 13-minute walk and a 3-minute bike ride. There is a large open space next to the apartment with a community garden giving a very spacious feel from inside the apartment. There is a restaurant right under the building as well as a bar, and multiple coffeeshops and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Given that we are in the penthouse apartment, there are no adjacent neighbors and therefore no noise from them.

We are international professional adults, ideally looking for similar flatmates. We have friends over every now and then mostly to cook food together and watch movies or play video games, but we don't throw big dance parties. We have thrown a couple of big BBQ parties over the summer just to take advantage of our nice rooftop terrace and a gas and coal bbq that we have there. Both of us are in the technology space: I used to work in biotech as a data scientist but am now doing my PhD in machine learning and cognitive science. Rahul is an engineer at Bosch.

We might have an availability for a second room by March or April, which would make it ideal for couples. If you think this could apply to you please let me know and perhaps we can come up with some sort of arrangement.
