American masters student looking for room

I am an American masters student studying Middle Eastern politics at the uni. I am looking for a flatshare somewhere close to the city center and with friendly, social people.

I am a sociable introvert -- I like to quietly keep to myself sometimes and other times I love to cook and share meals with people, have a drink, go for a walk, garden etc. I'm a big language nerd and speak Arabic mostly fluently, and have dabbled in Spanish and French (and now hopefully some German!). I have worked at as a waiter / at a wine bar in the past, and really love to "do research" for that part time profession ;)

I moved to Germany with my fluffy white cat, Boondock, so I am looking for a place that allows pets. He does not have claws, is mostly deaf, and is suuuuper cuddly.
