The room has two large windows with a beautiful view of Ulm Kuhberg. The room, like the entire apartment, was renovated about 10 years ago. It is equipped with a wardrobe, two other cupboards (one of which has an extended shelf as a desk), a chair, a sofa bed, and a bed with a mattress.
The rent including heating is €475 flat rate, plus the only additional costs are broadcasting fees (if you are not exempt) and about €10/month for WiFi.
The apartment has the residents' three rooms; kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and freezer; bathroom/toilet with shower and a hallway. The highlight is the very large terrace, which is even partially covered. There is also a washing machine.
The shared apartment is very quiet in the middle of a residential area. The nearest major bus stops (lines 5, 6, 8, night bus) are about 4 or 8 minutes away on foot. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the university from door to door, and 20 minutes to get to the city center (main station).
In terms of shopping, there are two REWE stores just over 10 minutes away on foot, or you can take the bus.
Sampath and Jacob are staying in the apartment. Sampath is a doctoral student in neuroscience, Jacob is a engineer. Sampath is originally from India. we enjoy cooking and are quiet and sociable roommates. Since both work from home and value a good night's sleep due to their work, they are also looking for a quiet new addition to the shared apartment.
Sampath hardly speaks any German, but he speaks good English. Ideally, we are looking for a new tenant who speaks both German and English.
I myself lived in the shared flat for 1 year, and I liked it on Holderweg. Since I am now moving quite spontaneously, I have to find a new tenant, so I am currently leading the search for a new roommate.
