240m2-WG mitten im 1. Bezirk

Unsre grüne Altstadt-Oase:
Wir sind im 1. Bezirk, abseits von den Touristen-Massen mit der wohl besten Lage in Wien. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße neben dem Donaukanal, an einem der schönsten kleinen Parks in der Altstadt: dem Rudolfspark. In der Straße gibt es viele gute Lokale und in die Innenstadt oder zum Schwedenplatz sind es nur wenige Schritte.

Auch Schottenring, Stephansplatz und Herrengasse snd in Gehreichweite.
Hofer, Billa, Spar liegen direkt ums Eck.

Our green old town oasis:
We are in the 1st district, away from the tourist crowds with probably the best location in Vienna. The apartment is located in a quiet side street next to the Danube Canal, at one of the most beautiful small parks in the old town: the Rudolfspark. There are many good pubs in the street and it is only a few steps to the city center or Schwedenplatz.

Schottenring, Stephansplatz and Herrengasse are also within walking distance.
Hofer, Billa, Spar are just around the corner.

Das WG-Leben
Bei uns sind alle viel beschäftigt, meistens in der Uni oder bei der Arbeit. Wir haben alle unseren eigenen Space und ziehen uns auch gern mal zurück. Hin und wieder essen wir aber auch gemeinsam in der Küche, gehen um die Ecke zum Billard-Spielen oder trinken mit Freunden ein Bier im Wohnzimmer oder auf einem der Balkone.
Deine Mitbewohner wären David, Julia, Yeliz (& Zeitan, unsre fröhliche Hundedame)- alle mitte 20 (& 4). Gerade zieht auch noch eine weitere Person ein.

David ist der Hauptmieter und lebt hier schon sein ganzes Leben lang. Er ist ist sozusagen die alte Seele des Hauses. Er arbeitet in einem Immobilienbüro, ist sehr gesellig, liest viel und geht gerne mal abends Billard spielen. Er ist sehr spontan und für allerlei sportlich Aktivitäten zu haben. Seine Freundin Julia studiert Wirtschaftsrecht an der WU, mag es lieber etwas ruhiger und ist meist in der Uni oder bei der Arbeit. Yeliz ist unsere Tierretterin: Sie ist leidenschaftliche Tierpflegerin, wird dich aber auch akzeptieren wenn du kein Vegetarier bist ;) Sie tifft sich gerne mit Freunden oder verbringt Zeit mit ihrer Hündin Zeitan - die ist super verspielt und mega lieb, verbraucht ihre gesamte Energie aber meist beim Spielen, wenn sie mit Yeliz auf der Arbeit ist. Deswegen bekommt man Zuhause kaum was von ihr mit.

The flat life
We are all very busy, mostly at university or at work. We all have our own space and like to withdraw from time to time. But every now and then we eat together in the kitchen, go around the corner to play pool or drink a beer with friends in the living room or on one of the balconies.
Your roommates would be David, Julia, Yeliz (& Zeitan, our happy dog lady)- all in their mid-20s (& 4). There is also one other person moving in right now.

David is the main tenant and has lived here all his life. He is the old soul of the house, so to speak. He works in a real estate office, is very sociable, reads a lot and likes to play billiards in the evenings. He is very spontaneous and available for all kinds of sports activities. His girlfriend Julia studies business law at the WU, prefers it a bit quieter and is usually at university or at work. Yeliz is our animal rescuer: She is passionate about animals, but will also accept you if you are not a vegetarian ;) She likes to meet friends or spend time with her dog Zeitan - who is super playful and mega sweet, but mostly uses up all her energy playing when she is at work with Yeliz. That's why you hardly get to see her at home.

Unsere Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock eines super schönen Altbaus direkt am grünen Rudolfsplatz. Es gibt einen Lift (mit Sitzbank!) und super viel Stauraum im großen Eingangsbereich. Wir haben insgesamt rund 240m2, die sich ideal aufteilen: 2 Schlafzimmer, das große Wohn-Esstimmer und die Toilette befinden sich direkt am ersten Flur. Durch eine Schlagtür gelangt man in den 2. Flur mit Abstellraum, Küche, den beiden Badezimmern und den übrigen 3 Schlafzimmern. Man kann sich also sehr gut zurückziehen und jeder hat seinen eigenen Bereich. Das Besondere: Alle Schlafzimmer - bis auf das von Yeliz - haben einen eigenen kleinen Balkon. Zusätzlich gibt es noch einen "Raucherbalkon" Richtung Innenhof, den man vom Flur aus erreicht.

Im 40m2-großen Wohn- und Esszimmer sitzen wir gern ab und zu zusammen - wir haben einen eigenen Getränkekühlschrank, eine Bar und eine riesige Bücherwand. Da lässt es sich also auch mit Freunden gut aushalten. David und Julia haben eins ihrer Schlafzimmer zu einem eigenen Wohnzimmer umfunktioniert, man kann sich hier also frei ausbreiten. :)

Die Küche ist zwar nicht ganz so groß, im 2. Flur gibt es allerdings eine riesige Schrankwand, in der wir alle genug Platz für Lebensmittel etc. haben. Außerdem sind wir gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man so zum Leben braucht, du müsstest also nichts mitbringen.

Ca. alle 2 Wochen kommt eine Putzfrau für die Gemeinschaftsräume.

Our apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a super nice old building directly on the green Rudolfsplatz. There is an elevator (with bench!) and super much storage space in the large entrance area. We have a total of about 240m2, which is ideally divided: 2 bedrooms, the large living-dining room and the toilet are located directly on the first floor. Through a batting door you enter the 2nd hallway with storage room, kitchen, the two bathrooms and the remaining 3 bedrooms. So you can retreat very well and everyone has his own area. The special thing: All bedrooms - except Yeliz's - have their own small balcony. In addition, there is a "smoker's balcony" towards the courtyard, which can be reached from the hallway.

In the 40m2-large living and dining room we like to sit together from time to time - we have our own drinks fridge, a bar and a huge wall of books. So it's a good place to hang out with friends, too. David and Julia have converted one of their bedrooms into their own living room, so you can spread out freely here. :)

The kitchen is not that big, but in the 2nd hallway there is a huge wall of cupboards, where we all have enough space for food etc.. Also, we are well equipped with everything you need to live, so you wouldn't have to bring anything.

Approximately every 2 weeks a cleaning lady comes for the common areas.
