Hey guys, in the middle of April a large room will become available in our four-person shared apartment for a period of 3-4 months as I am going on a well-deserved break after finishing my PhD here in Vienna.
The room is fully furnished. That means you can expect a :
-140x200 cm double bed with a mattress, bed frame and two drawers
-a 3-door 117x190 cm white wardrobe with mirror
-a classic white swivel chair
-a 30 cm beige table lamp
-a 105x50 cm white study desk
-a soft dark grey 150*240 cm rug
-a 110 cm bench/foot stool with storage space
-a pair of opaque blackout 175*140 cm curtains
-a door clothes hook with 15 hooks
-a 10 l white trash can
-a multi-level wooden plant rack with a number of decorative and flowering plants.
-a two-seater black couch, with two additional black couch chairs.
The room is very bright and is more than large at around 25m2. In addition to the room, our 120m2 apartment (highest floor, but don't worry there is a lift) has a large living room, a bathroom, two separate toilets and a well-equipped kitchen (as seen in the pictures)
Since the room faces the inner courtyard, it's pretty quiet. I will soon upload the pictures of my room and the apartment.
The apartment is in a perfect location right next to the Danube Canal,
about 2 minutes from the Karmelitermarkt,
about 10 minutes from Augarten.
2 minutes from the Schottenring subway (U2 & U4)
and approx. 8 minutes to Schwedenplatz.
Otherwise there is everything you need for life. Supermarkets, Bipa/dm, cafes and restaurants and even the weekly market at the Kamelitermarkt.
Your future roommates are René, Adriano, and Thissanth.
- René (27) is originally from the north of Germany but has been living in Vienna for several years. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in political science and works part-time.
- Thissanth (27) is from Cologne and moved to Vienna to do his Master's in Business Administration at the main university. He also works part-time and is a photographer.
-Adriano (26) is from Switzerland and is doing an Erasmus in Vienna from February/March to August. He studies architecture and art history.
All 3 are super relaxed people and take each other into consideration. Since everyone has a lot to do with university and work, we sometimes lose touch with each other, but every now and then we like to cook in the evening or philosophize about society.
The room will be available from April 15. And we would prefer someone who is available for a period of approximately 3 months. Nevertheless, the move-in and move-out dates can be discussed and changed a bit accordingly.
So with your message, please let us know your approximate moving in and moving out date.
Since I have quite a few plants in my room, I would like the person staying in the apartment to take good care of the plants. If you do not want to take the responsibility for the plants, also let me know. I will arrange something for the plants then.
Since I plan to move back to my room after 3 months, I will not charge any fees for the furniture, but I would really like to get back my room and furniture in a similar nice and clean condition as now.
