Location is extremely convenient with public transport:
- 2 mins walk to Tram 18 Heinrich Drimmel-Platz;
- 4 mins walk to Tram O Fasangasse;
- 7 mins walk to Tram 71 Rennweg and Rennweg Station (S1, S2, S3, S4, S7) – for someone who travels frequently like me, it only takes 23 mins to get to the airport)
- 7 mins walk to Tram D and bus 13A at the Belvedere station
- Main central station and 1st district can be reached in 5-7 mins by public transport or by bike

Nearby grocery stores: Billa, BIPA, dm, Hofer (5 mins walk); Turkish store (Etsan), Eurospar and Billa at Kleistgasse are 7 mins walk. (Small tip: the best authentic Korean restaurant in Vienna - BIBIM is also only 10 mins walk from home)

Best part about this room is that there are many beautiful parks are within 5 minutes by walking: Belvedere Palace Park, Botanical Garden Vienna, Swiss Garden, Arsenal.

Ezat is 24 years old and is training as an optician. He’s been living in Vienna since 13 years old and he knows a lot of cool places in the city. He’s extremely friendly and talkative, if you start a conversation with him, it might last for hours without you even noticing.

Vinzenz is 20, from Munich (Germany) and currently he’s doing the apprenticeship as a chef at famous restaurant Das LOFT Vienna. He’s super kind and passionate about many things: a plant father with 10-20 different plants all around his room and his impressive collection of books and guitars. From time to time, he’ll cook amazing food or bring home pastry from work and offers you to “try”.

Matti is 21, from Leipzig (Germany) and currently studying Mechanical Engineering at TU Wien. He loves making vegan/vegetarian dishes and biking around the city. He’s also very friendly and easy to talk to, with great energy and charisma.

All flat mates can speak perfect German (native) and English (highly fluent) so if you don’t speak any German at all (like me :), you’ll have NO problem integrating to the WG life.

All in all, everyone is very open-hearted and respectful. Hardly ever made any loud noise in the house. Since we have very different working schedules, we cook our own food in the shared kitchen and from time to time, grab a beer and sit together on Friday evenings.

Our kitchen is fully equipped: kettles, toaster, utensils, 2 fridges (plenty space for storage), microwave, oven, induction stove. We also have a bad tub, shoe rack, hanging rack, washing machine, vacuum, hair dryer, iron and a common wardrobe in the corridor for winter clothes storage. You don’t have to buy anything extra when you move in!

The monthly rents are transferred to Vinzenz, who then transfers the total amount collected to the landlord. The total rent - all inclusive (fast internet, water, heating, maintenance) is 375 euros per month.

The deposit fee is 920 euros (you'll get it back when you move out). I would prefer if you’re willing to take over all the furniture in the room (mattress, shelves, desk chair, office chair, IKEA pillow + blanket – very new) for a VERY cheap price: 225 euros for everything.

There is no official end date for how long you want to stay, it can be 3 months, 6 months or 2-3 years. All you need to do is finding a new tenant to take over your room when you move out (it’s the only responsibility you need to comply).
