Hey, everyone! :)
In our shared flat (in the 3rd district) with a total space of 130m2, two rooms will be free soon. The reason why two of us (Viki and Christian) will be moving out is because we will both be doing a study exchange year starting next semester. We decided to upload two different notices, so if you are interested in the flat, but prefer a different room, price or moving-in-date, you might also be interested in this notice: https://www.wg-gesucht.de/9315785.html (Ad number: 9315785).
This particular notice is for the room that will be free starting from July 1st. The room is around 9m2 big and the rent will be 269€ per month with a 600€ deposit.
Once you move out, you will get the 600€ back.
The room can be given as (partly) furnished or completely unfurnished. You may keep the bed, desk, chair and both bookcases/cupboards in exchange of a small fee of max. 75€ (can be negotiated).
Included in the rent are also general utility costs and commonly used items like WIFI, heating, electricity, water, washing detergent, toilet paper, soap and basic food like onions, garlic, oats and salt.
In the flat, there are all basic household appliances like washing machine, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, mixer, clothes hanger and basic cooking utensils like all sorts of pans, pots, cutlery and cutting boards.
We also have a very spacious and cozy community kitchen, a shared pantry where we store our food, a bathroom and a separate toilet, so there is enough space for everybody.
The flat is very centrally located in Fasangasse right next to the Botanical Garden, Castle Belvedere and the Swiss Garden – so there a lot of green parks nearby. The Rennweg station (train, tram, bus) is very near (~3 min by foot) and provides a good connection to all parts of Vienna. So you will be able to reach the city center (the 1st district is reachable in ~18 min by foot) and most universities in a short time. There are several grocery and drug stores in our vicinity (Hofer, Billa, Lidl, Eurospar, Etsan, Bipa, dm are all ~5 min walk away). A Bank, a post office and a pharmacy are also in walking distance. It’s an ideal location for students and working people in Vienna.
We are a shared flat consisting of a total of six people (if every room is occupied).
Since we all have our own routines and sometimes some of us are away, it rarely gets crowded. We like to exchange ideas about many different topics, and we also care about our nutrition (vegan, vegetarian, organic, etc.). We would love someone to join our flat that enjoys community living, where we talk about interesting topics, occasionally play games, and have dinner together from time to time. We would also prefer our new flat mates to stay for a minimum of one year.

If you feel you would fit among us, please message us with an introduction of yourself considering the questions below:
What is your name? How old are you? What are you doing? What do you care about? What are your hobbies/passions? How long do you expect to be in Vienna?
Contact me (either in English or German) with your introduction and questions you might have. We will then figure out how to meet (either in person or via Zoom), so you can see the flat and your potential future flat mates.
Looking forward to hearing from you :)
