Looking for a female tenant for a room in a nice altbau WG. I am moving out and my room is available for long term rent.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms (one for subletting and one occupied by a girl flatmate), and common shared areas - big living room, big hall, kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet. The flat is in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and marvellous entryways. What I love most about it is that it has windows on both sides of the apartment: every single room (even kitchen and bathroom) have a window to either a quiet street or green inner yard. Thanks to these windows it is always very light and airy in the apartment, we only need to turn on the lights in the evening.
There is a washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher, kitchen appliances, basically all you can need. There is no need to buy additional furniture.
You get all the furniture that is here: a double bed with mattresses, a desk, chair, shelves, 2 bedside tables, curtains and chandelier.
In your bedroom there is also a small walk-in closet 🔥

The apartment is on Steingasse in the 3rd districts of Vienna.
You can get to WU by walking through a park in 30 mins or by bike in 11 mins. There are 2 metro stations withing 8-10 mins: 1) Kardinal-Nagl platz of U3 metro line and 2) Rennweg with S7, S1 and REX lines. The metro gets you quickly to most important places - Hauptbahnhof, Westbahnhof, Airport in just 21 minutes, universities, shopping - very convenient to get anywhere, I never need taxis basically. There are also several buses and trains stopping very close.
In walking distance there is Prater park and Belvedere gardens, as well as some small parks in the neighborhood. This greenery makes a very cosy neighborhood, and you can easily go to parks for a jog, cycling, workout or just to read a book and get ice cream.
Your flatmate would be Stefi, she is 26, comes from Romania, speaks both German and English, she studies biology, and likes biking a lot. She is very clean and we are looking for a careful flatmate to take good care of the apartment.
This has been an apartment for working students, where we agree to respect each other's work and rest hours. It will not suit to people who love to party late daily.
You are welcome to invite friends over, as long as the apartment stays clean and neat.
Misc: Smoking is not permitted inside.
The rent is fixed at 420 EUR a month including all utilities. The only other thing we pay for is shared WIFi bill (13.5 EUR each)
The room could be rented from August (1st, 10th, or 20th). It is leased for 1 semester until end of December 2022. Text me your preferred dates and we’ll agree!
