Liebe Menschen, auf der Suche nach einem gemütlichen Zuhause,
Wir sind Regina (sie/ ihr), Lóri (kp/ er), Nima (er/ ihm), Anne (sie/ ihr) und Danja (sie/ihr) und suchen eine Zwischenmiete (6 Monate, Januar - Juni) für unsere 6er-WG in einer wunderschönen Altbau-Wohnung in Wieden mit großem gemeinsamen Wohnzimmer und sogar einem kleinen Balkon. Unsere sechste Mitbewohni reist den Sommer über durch Europa, weshalb wir auf der Suche nach einer Person sind, die Lust auf ein gemütliches Zusammenleben hat.
Zu deinem Zimmer und der Wohnung:
Dein Zimmer ist 26 qm groß, hat hohe Stuck-Decken, Sternparkett, ist recht hell (2. Stock/ Ostseite) und kostet warm (inkl. Internet) ca. 520 Euro. Die Kaution für die drei Monate beträgt 500 Euro. Dein Zimmer liegt im linken Flügel der Wohnung und ist zentral begehbar. Wichtig: Die gesamte Wohnung und auch das Zimmer ist barrierefrei, d.h. es gibt einen Aufzug und in der Wohnung selbst nur wenige Stufen/Kanten. Wenn Du besondere Bedürfnisse bezüglich der Barrierefreiheit hast (z.B. im Bad oder in der Küche), dann finden wir sicherlich auch eine praktische Lösung.
Insgesamt ist die ganze Wohnung recht groß, dadurch dass wir ein relativ großes Vorzimmer, und ein großes gemeinsames Wohnzimmer haben, wo wir gerne zusammensitzen.

We are Regina (she/ her), Lóri (np/ he), Nima (he/ him), Anne (she/ her) and Danja (she/her) and we are looking for a sublet (6 months, January- June) for our flat-sharing community of 6 in a beautiful old apartment in Wieden. Our WG is really big, with loads of place in the kitchen and one big living room, a big hallway, and even a small balcony. Our sixth roommate is traveling through Europe for the summer, so we are looking for someone who is up for a cozy living together.
Some information about your room:
Your room is 26 square meters, bright(second floor, east side), located on the left side of the WG and is independently accessible (it’s not a Durchgangszimmer), has high ceilings with wonderful plaster on it, and costs about 520 Euros (all costs included, i.e. Internet, warm water etc.). The deposit for the three months is 500 Euros. Important: the entire appartment and your room as well is barrier-free accesible by an elevator and there are no steps in the appartment. In case you have special needs (i.e. in the bathroom or kitchen) please let us know and we will find a practical solution.

Wir wohnen im 4. Bezirk. direkt bei der U1 Station Südtirolerplatz, Hauptbahnhof und der 13a fährt vor der Haustür. In kurzer Gehentfernung fahren außerdem die Straßenbahnlinien 18,D und 1, sowie am Hauptbahnhof viele S-Bahnen und natürlich Fernzüge. In unserer Straße gibt es zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Quasi hinter dem Haus, in dem wir wohnen findet sich de Zugang zum kleinen Dr.Karl Landsteiner Park, dort gibt es Tischtennisplatten und Möglichkeiten zum Ausruhen.
Mit dem Fahrrad bist du in wenigen Minuten am Karlsplatz, und in 15 Minuten im Naherholungsgebiet Wienerberg.Im 5. Bezirk mit seinen Bars und viel zu vielen Möglichkeiten um sein Geld für leckeres Essen auszugeben ist man auch ganz flott. Auch das EKH ist nicht weit, falls du dein Geld lieber bei einer Soli Party lassen willst.

The WG is at the 4th district, close to the Südtirolerplatz (Hauptbahnhof), and actually directly by bus station number 13. Moreover, there is an UBahn station 1 minute away from us. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close to us, and luckily, there is a nice park just behind the house, where we could play table tennis or rest. Of course, the house is very easily accessible with bicycle, and you get to Karlsplatz in couple of minutes.

Zum WG Leben: Unser gemeinsames Zusammenleben ist sehr solidarisch, freund*innenschaftich und lustig vor und kennen uns zum Teil auch schon etwas länger. So wie bisher wird sicher auch künftig in unserer WG ein buntes Treiben herrschen! Wir sind zwischen 22 und 39 Jahren alt, lernen, studieren, musizieren, lohnarbeiten und sind in unterschiedlichen Kontexten politisch aktiv und oft unterwegs. Ein reflektierter und solidarischer Umgang miteinander ist uns sehr wichtig und wünschen uns freundschaftliche und fürsorgliche Beziehungen zueinander.
Deshalb freuen wir uns, wenn auch du Lust auf gemeinschaftliches Kochen & Essen, Filmabende (wir haben sogar zwei Beamer!) und regelmäßige WG-Plena hast. In unserem Kühlschrank wird eigentlich alles geteilt, außer der Kram der im Ego-Fach liegt. Immer wenn es klappt, möchten wir gemeinsam (vegetarisch oder vegan) essen oder chillen, hin und wieder auch zusammen Ausflüge unternehmen, Veranstaltungen besuchen, solidarisch diskutieren oder feiern gehen. Es bleibt aber auch genug Raum für Rückzug.
Wir verstehen uns außerdem als feministisch & antifaschistische WG und versuchen Reproduktionsarbeit untereinander aufzuteilen und Geschlechterrollen zu reflektieren. Wir sind außerdem alle geimpft und wünschen uns das auch von unserem zukünftigem Mitbewohnsi, solange keine medizinischen Gründe vorliegen.

About the WG:
We value solidarity, mutual respect, diversity, and friendship. Some of us know each other from previous WGs. We are from 22 to 39 years old, and study, work, make music, and are active in various political contexts. We identify ourselves as feminist and antifascist and try to become more conscious about our socially constructed gender rolls and get rid of them.
We would be happy to have group activities like cooking and eating together, watching movies (we have 2 projectors!), or going to events and parties together. However, everyone has always the choice to stay away and spend time with her-/himself. We will have regular WG-meetings. Finally, we will share all food with each other, but there will be an “Ego” section in the fridge, where everyone could keep stuff for themselves.
