Since I am planning on going abroad for a few months, this room will be available from September 2020 until February/March 2021!
It is a 12m2 room with a very old Viennese charme. The building was constructed around 1849 but the whole flat is renovated and in excellent condition. It has parquet floor everywhere and high ceilings.
The room will be handed over fully furnished (1 bed ~ 140cm wide, 1 big cabinet, 1 desk, 1 bookshelf). The flat has 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet, a kitchen/living room, and an anteroom. A washing machine and a dishwasher are available.
You will share this flat with my lovely friend, who is also a student and is finishing her studies (architecture) soon.
Situation:
This room is situated in the fifth district of Vienna and is close to downtown. You can reach the center (Stephansdom) with the U1 in approx. 15-20 minutes, the Technical University and its library is also nearby (8 Minutes by tramway). It's perfect for students, you have plenty of supermarkets nearby (Hofer, Spar, Billa) and one main street (the Wiedner Hauptstraße) is around the corner and offers lots of other shops, cafés and restaurants.
Public transport:
8 Min. to U1 Südtirolerplatz metro
4 Min. to Laurenzgasse (62, 1, Badner Bahn) tramway
3 Min. to Blechturmgasse (18) tramway
9 Min. to Viennas central train station (Hauptbahnhof/Südtirolerplatz)
Altough the flat is situated nearby the center and you have lots of cafes, shops, restaurants within your close proximity, your street Hauslabgasse is VERY quiet.
If you have any questions, just ask :D It's a nice, comfy and very well suited room in Vienna with a lovely flatmate. Although it is currently a student shared-household and your future flatmate is very into doing fun stuff and conducting interesting and long conversations, you should know that throwing big houseparties aren't quite welcome in this apartment. :)
