Hi!
I'm looking for new roommates for my apartment at Margaretengürtel in 1050 Vienna. Sadly, all of my cute roomies are finished with their Erasmus and move back to Germany in July. So there will be 2 free rooms in my big, sunny renovated Altbau. The house has no lift, but you get used to walking the stairs (and your ass will look super fine after some time). One room is 16 sqm big (for which I am already talking to people about it) and the other is 29 sqm. There is also a living room, a renovated kitchen, a bathroom (with a tub for cozy baths) and a separate toilet. We have a little Kabinett next to the kitchen for which I am trying to organize something right now, maybe someone is gonna move in there as well (preferably I would turn it into a storage or something).
The 29 sqm room is facing Schönbrunner Straße so you can hear a bit of street noise. When the windows are closed it's really quiet though because we have new windows. Most of the furniture could stay, it's not a must though. It's really sunny between 10 and 15 pm, after that point the sun is shining into the living room (including a super cute sundown over the Bruno-Kreisky Park).
The area is great (Hundsturm). From the living room, you can oversee the Bruno-Kreisky-Park (and chill there in summer). The U4 station Margaretengürtel is 2 minutes away from the apartment. There is also the 18 and 6 tram close by and in 10 minutes by foot (2 with the tram) you are at Gumpendorfer Straße.
There is a little shop on Gumpendorfer Straße that is always open until 10 pm as also a lot of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. 4 minutes away from the apartment are two Billas and a Hofer.
From July on it will be only me, Diana, in the apartment. I am 27, and used to work at an art fabricaton studio here in Vienna. I am on educational leave right now to finish my master thesis and go back to University (Academy of Fine Arts, Master Critical Studies) in October.
I am a calm and clean person at home. Respect and direct communication are a must for me but also having a fun time and laughing about life's absurdities. I am a bit sensitive toward noise so I am looking for calm people who see their home as a retreat and space to feel at peace. Also, I would prefer FLINTA people who work and/or study.
There is also someone else moving in for the 16 sqm so it would be super cute if we could all meet as soon as it is clearer who is gonna move in and see how we are getting on.
We (me and my current roomies) have a chill cleaning plan (every week someone else) and I would love to continue that.
Lastly, there is a little payment for the new washing machine we had to get. It would be 50 euros per person (the machine is brand new though).
